All the folks who are already pouring glasses of celebratory champagne and planning the watch parties for his death - I assume they'll have no problem when I express the same glee over the (hopefully soon) deaths of Bush, Cheney, Rove, Rumsfeld, Limbaugh, Hannity, O'Reilly, Pat Robertson, James Dobson. In fact, I want their deaths to be as long, drawn-out, and agonizingly painful as possible.

What part of I want him off the Hill and I don't care if he walks off or not is unclear? I wish no ill towards him as a person, and certainly not because of his character but because I don't want his family to suffer, but Ted kennedy has hurt the United States tremendously and I want him gone, and if he isn't going to remove himself, I'll take God doing it.

The definition of a hypocrite is expecting standards of other people that you are not prepared to adhere to yourself. Sokar can waffle on all day about why he doesn't like Kennedy, but everyone has their reasons. Sokar expects others to put theirs aside, something he's not prepared to do.

This isn't "I'm happy he has a brain tumor because he's a shitstack" (although he is). This is "I'm happy he has a brain tumor because it means he'll be off the Hill one way or the other". Ted Kennedy is the enemy domestic we were warned about and he needs to be someplace he can't do anymore damage. If he isn't going to leave voluntarily, and if the Massachusetts political machine isn't going to force him to leave, then I'm looking to God to remove Teddy and it looks like God's delivering.
