My favorite story arc when I was a kid (actually, my favorite of all time) is The New Teen Titans 4-issue story "The Judas Contract." There's a recent hardcover re-issue of the story which I picked up and enjoyed again this past weekend.
Nick Cage is going to play Superman!! Okay, NOW I'm interested!! This is like Billy Dee Williams playing Two-Face in Lego Batman.
Didn’t they already do this as an animated movie? It was called Superman: Doomsday. We’ve also seen this in the the Justice League cartoon, Smallville, and BvS.
But they've never done "Reign Of The Supermen", before, which is the sequel. They have to get this one out of the way to do that.
It's pretty good. The main spine story is a mystery of who Hush is, but along the way, it's a mish-mash cameo-fest of every villain ever, and merges all the comic continuity together that hadn't been up to that point.
That show is awesome. Literally. They've made the whole cast insane. The bad guys are the ones with any sense. That's what makes it hilarious.
Stan Lee has a cameo. https://www.gamespot.com/articles/stan-lee-makes-very-unexpected-new-movie-cameo-and/1100-6460581/
That looks great! Definitely checking that out. Actually a whole animated series like that would be awesome.
Just finished The Death of Superman, I liked it. I still miss the old voice actors, if there's anything DC gets right, it's the animated movies.
Batman vs Ninja Turtles!! I think this is the first cross-company crossover movie...EVER!! I mean, yeah, Disney and Warners crossed over in "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?", but this is the first time for superheroes. https://www.comicbookmovie.com/batm...-the-works-check-out-the-first-images-a166443
I'm excited about Justice League vs. The Fatal Five Over and over again we see comments from creative folks at DC saying how much the love the Legion and I'm not going to be content until the go ahead and do a DCU series (perhaps in the manner of Young Justice) that takes the Legion seriously. This is likely to be a good sign in that regard.
