Forgot about that. Yeah, you’d have to introduce MM some other way. I guess it’d be better to just introduce GL and leave it at that.
Rumor is, they're trying to make Flash a mini Crisis, and they're looking to get Christian Bale, Val Kilmer*, George Clooney,* Grant Gustin, and...(please let this happen!!) Nicholas Cage as the Superman of Michael Keaton's Earth! *This would make each Schumaker film a separate world. BUT, it would give haters the finger like "Thor: The Dark World", being important to "Endgame". Like "haha!! It's not in your head-canon? Well guess what, it fucking counts!! ". Oh, and this is a few days late, but after Suicide Squad, and Guardians 3, James Gunn is going back to DC to do a spinoff movie of Peacemaker (John Cena's character). Apparently, he's gonna be a breakout of the flick. And, it seems to be spoiled that he survives. ..unless it's a prequel.
I had to Google Peacemaker.... apparently Cena is playing this version, though they might change the backstory... I mean let's hope because WTAF??!!
While it would be insane to see Nicholas Cage in any kind of Superman role, it would be good to see Brandon Routh again. He showed in Crisis that he still looks the part.
Yeah, but you could totally get away with the weirdness of Cage-Supes now, because it's an Elseworld. Back in the 90's, it was weird, because he was supposed to be THE Superman. Now, not so mch.
I said at the time the Cage movie was being bandied about that Supes is not supposed to be a goombah. But as an Elseworlds it would totally kick ass.
Aldis Hodge is Hawkman in "Black Adam". https://www.darkhorizons.com/aldis-hodge-is-hawkman-in-black-adam/
Yep. About a month ago when it came out! Diacanu posted the trailer in this thread and there is quite a bit of discussion about it. Edit: okay, I actually watched what you posted. It's the trailer with the Nolan-era music. That hasn't been posted before. So, apologies. But I like the original better.

WW84 to be released on HBO Max and theaters (hahaha as if) on December 25th. https://variety.com/2020/film/news/wonder-woman-1984-hbo-max-release-1234804411/
Reviews for WW84 continue to be good. RT score isn't as good as the first though. So far... https://www.darkhorizons.com/wonder-woman-1984-draws-good-reviews/
Wonder Woman 3 is fast-tracked. Its made peanuts, and received tepid reviews, but it still made more than Tenet. Patty Jenkins's writers have the scripts for WW3, and Rogue Squadron ready to go, and she'll likely flip a coin over which to do first, and launch into whatever the second one is while the first is in post-production. Kind of like how James Gunn is gonna hit the ground running on Guardians 3 the second Suicide Squad 2 is done. https://www.darkhorizons.com/warners-fast-tracks-wonder-woman-3/
Starting 2022, DC is going to crank out 6 movies a year. 4 theatrical, 2 HBOMax. Plus spinoff shows on HBOMax. Remember that infographic I've been building of their theoretical slate? There's like 20 movies on the fucking thing. They need to do this just to chew through those. Also, it's good to see they're not pussyfooting around anymore. They were never gonna catch up to Marvel with 2 movies a year. https://www.darkhorizons.com/warners-plans-six-dc-films-annually/
The goal shouldn't be to catch up with Marvel. It should be to just make good and profitable movies. They never should have tried to capture the lightning in a bottle of the MCU. Heck, even Marvel knows it can't really sustain it long-term, which is why they are (presumably) introducing the notion of a multiverse. There is no reason to say "No more Cap, Iron Man and Black Panther movies for the foreseeable future" just because the actors who excelled in those roles are uninterested, too expensive or (Rest in Power, Chad) gone too soon. Where is the infographic you're referring to? I'm curious what's on it.
Sasha Calle is the DCEU's Supergirl. She'll be starting out in "The Flash". She's Latina. Well, we didn't get a Latina Wonder Girl. What, we only get one or the other, DC? Come on. She did a chemistry read with Ezra Miller. Oh, you mean he didn't choke her? Yeah, we didn't forget that, DC! https://www.darkhorizons.com/sasha-calle-is-dc-films-new-supergirl/
Have you seen "Doom Patrol" yet? There's a character called Crazy Jane who has multiple personalities, and every personality has a power. She's Latina, but one of her personalities is white, and when she's this person, they deliberately make her makeup and contacts look extra creepy to make fun of the "anglo-Alba".
