Anthony Carrigan (Zasz on "Gotham") is Metamorpho in "Superman Legacy". https://www.darkhorizons.com/anthony-carrigan-joins-superman-legacy/
Okay so in Justice League he's a misunderstood villain and in JL Unlimited he's a minor player on the Justice League. Maybe that's where I was confused.
https://variety.com/2023/film/news/lady-gaga-joker-2-set-called-lee-dp-never-met-her-1235676057/amp/ Lawrence Sher, the Oscar-nominated cinematographer for “Joker,” revealed on “The Trenches Talk” podcast that he “never even met” Lady Gaga on the set of the sequel, “Joker: Folie à Deux,” because she was presumably in character the whole time (via IndieWire). Gaga stars opposite returning lead Joaquin Phoenix in the 2024 comic book movie, which casts her as Harley Quinn opposite Phoenix’s Joker. Sher said it wasn’t until he started calling Gaga by the name “Lee” (presumably a nod to Harley) that she even warmed up to him. At least she didn't go full Jared Leto (that we know of)
Yeah they didn't hold back and I think that's fair since Ezra Miller doesn't really deserve to be forgiven at this point.
Gal Gadot seems to think Wonder Woman 3 is still happening, even in the reboot-iverse, and without Jenkins. Dark Horizons thinks this is more than wishful thinking for some reason. https://www.darkhorizons.com/gadot-gunn-developing-wonder-woman-3/
Yeah, and prior to its release they were saying The Flash was the best time travel movie since Back to the Future. Colour me highly skeptical.
So, I watched The Flash. I don't get all the hate. It's probably not the best DCEU film, but it's far from the worst. The only thing I didn't like about it was that Younger Barry was kind of reminding me of Pauly Shore, and I don't like being reminded that Pauly Shore exists.
That actually looks fun and funny. It has a good cast. I would stream it if it wasn't going to disney + alone. I am not paying theater money for it. Looking at that trailer I really don't hate the idea of a pretty generic fun superhero DCEU or MCU flick coming out. You just have to have some good wisecracking in it. If you do the comedy right it could be a fun movie. Ironman stopped being good when Tony became all angsty and stupid. This is why Batman sucks without a fun villain. This is why Thor sucked until someone pulled the stick out of his ass.
The bio-organoid suit thing has been done with "The Guyver". Sure, BB is a cute jokey take, but "Guyver", the American live-action one anyway, had comic relief villains. Jimmy Walker was one of them. That's right, Jimmy Walker was a superhero movie villain. The flick is in bargain-bin VHS, but it's out there.
