Or he and / or the team swipe her body from the casket & team Arrow just bury a weighted box without realizing it at the time.

How'd they get away with skipping the embalming? :diacanu:

Depending upon state/local laws, and the method of burial, embalming might not be required. Is there a Ralph's near here?

Could've gotten her corpse from x years in the future, swapped it, so they embalmed and buried a future version.

Of course, when you're going into that much detail you're at risk of having less of a life than said fictional corpse... :D

I'd have Merlin do it, not that he's in control of the springs. It makes perfect sense for him to do so so his great sin against his daughter is expunged - at least, in part. As far as whatever is done to the body, we are basically dealing with magic, so that opens endless possibiltiies for the writers. And of course White comes from the purification of the ritual, etc etc.

that's not a bad thought - most of all it gives him a way to get Nissa off his throat. From a writer's point of view, it's the most obvious thing. But still you wonder how long a person can be dead and still be revived by the pit.

Just finished it. Much more good than bad. As is typical for pilots, it's a bit rushed - a lot crammed into a single hour, but the cast is really likeable, they covered a lot of the little things that sometimes don't get explained and it had a fun, sort of "old school" vibe to it. I expect to enjoy it.

Really? It seems they were able to cram it all into a trailer!

Was there anything substantial in the episode beyond it? Any surprises?

    Pretty much this.
Despite the muted costume everyone whined about, this feels like live-action DC animated.
Unabashedly comic book, and bright, and fun, with no apologies.

I haven't watched live T.V./scheduled T.V. in over 4 years now. You can watch pretty much anything streaming now. And commercials suck.

Basically the episode was equal parts "girl power", the set-up exposition including origin, her family situation, and the government stuff, and comic book. The cramed pretty much all the "girl power" beats into the trailer, leaving out the weightier story elements for the most part.

I don't know if I'd go so far as to say anything surprised me, but the unexpected story elements involved mainly her sister's situation and relationship to Kara, and the set-up of where her regular diet of villains is going to come from.

I will mention also that this show completely embraces all the tropes of the Superman mythology, as in for instance at one point Kara is restrained by cuffs laced with Kryptonite radiation, as already established facts - not things to be discovered along the way. This is a show told within the context of the pre-existtance of the Big Blue Boy Scout

No spoilerage intended, I'm predicting right now that Rip Hunter will be introduced in the first episode of season two of The Flash, the time paradox that Eddie set off is too big for a wanna-be Time Lord to ignore.
And how about that Helmet coming out of the wormhole?

The CW is reportedly going to develop a solo series for Hawkgirl once "Legends Of Tomorrow" gets rolling.

Damn, CW, finish the candy bar you're eating before eyeballing the next one, wouldja?

But Marvel is a skinny Japanese kid, they can eat more.

I still say that Deadman is a viable TV show, it's Quantum Leap sans the time-travel, get the casting right and you're good to go.

Problem with Deadman is that you have a new lead actor every episode..

Nah, you just use the same trick they did on Quantum Leap, you only see who he's inhabiting when he jumps into them or looks into a mirror.

I will admit though, it would either succeed or fail depending on the how they handle the Deadman look. Is Boston stuck in the afterlife with his performance mask/makeup still on or not? And I really have no idea witch would play better. :clyde:

Oh, he'd absolutely have to be in his circus attire in the afterlife.

But he could look like plain ol' Boston Brand in the world.

Just imagine the twists possible, Malcolm Merlyn (possessed by Boston 'natch) shows up in starling City to ask Oliver Queen to help solve his murder, for that one, I'd let Barrowman be the one on screen, he's more than good enough.

CW has, or is going to have a digital platform called CW Seed.
On CW Seed there'll be a show called "Vixen".
It'll be animated, and set in the same world as "Arrow", "Flash", and "Legends Of Tomorrow".
The title character will be played by Megalyn Echikunwoke.
It'll guest star Flash and Arrow voiced by their live action actors.

There's going to be more Jerome/Joker in season 2 of "Gotham".

They were originally gonna milk the rise of Joker WAYYY slower, but fans liked Jerome so much, they've said "fuck it", and are stepping on the gas.
