As of lately, I rarely eat. I have started to have a very low appetite. I eat sometimes once or twice a day. I haven't been taking my medication very regularly do you think that is why? Does this happen to anyone else?

PS I forgot to mention I have had an ongoing cold since August... My mom seems to think there is mold in my apartment.

You feel run down from your post. Is there anything that is emotionally draining you?

Appetite is either a physical thing, or a mind thing. If you could eliminate one of those options, you would have firmer footing and a better idea of where to go.

Also, let me recommend if you're fighting off a cold to eat lots and lots of Grape fruit. Fresh grapefruit.

Yes, I sure am. See my medication is for depression and I have been forgetting to take it but my body reminds me because I get very very dizzy. I can't turn my head without seeing stars. I can't say much for my "home" life, it rather sucks right now.

All other things aside, it probably isn't doing your body any favors with your missing medication. But it might be worth your while to talk to your doctor and mention depression.

    You could try.....taking the medication.

Depression medication is meant to be long term and the daily dose is important to keep the levels appropriate. Some of them are dangerous to stop without medical monitoring.

You need to see your Doctor and be checked. Make sure you are not in trouble...and don't think you know if you are fine and it's nothing. I thought that once and almost died because of my stupidity.

You should also look into comcomitant therapy...depression meds are rarely effective alone. Without therapy, they are like a veil over your feelings instead of dealing with the issues that can help with long term recovery.
