What Dicky said. Remember, Samuel L. Jackson is playing Nick Fury in part because he's a HUGE comic book nerd. So anything is possible.

Not to mention that in the comics, Nick Fury was rebooted to look like SLJ after Pulp Fiction came out. Be kind of a dick move not to take the role when it was offered to you.

I keep forgetting that The Ultimates had a bald, black Nick Fury six years before the MCU debuted. Good point.
