As for Steele, he was shocked to discover that the only reason he was picked to run the RNC was because his skin color. He was probably the only person in America to not realize it from the beginning.

As he points out, the RNC has lost ground under the leadership of Romney-McDaniel, but they still keep electing her to run the party because she listens to Trump. Steele gave the RNC some of their biggest gains while he was in charge and they tossed him out.

I guess that gives Steele something in common with Herschel Walker.

Wilson, you might remember, is one of the founders of The Lincoln Project, who've been accused of taking credit for other people's work, and lining their pockets with money people thought was going to help defeat Republicans. Steele's also said that the only reason he's a Republican and not a Libertarian is that he can troll more people this way. Doesn't sound like a man of strong principles to me.
