Given how much money people can make from scams, I don't see the fees stopping scammers from using bots at all.

Anybody can petition Twitter to voluntarily remove content, modify its internal rules or what not.

It doesn't matter to me if it's the Biden campaign pushing Twitter to take down Hunter's dick pics or if it's the Trump White House mad that Chrissy Teigen apparently called Trump a "pussy ass bitch."

It only counts as censorship if there's some coercive effort involved by the government. Which there wasn't with the Hunter dick pics and wasn't (presumably) with any of the requests the Trump WH made, and which I doubt there was with any of the other Twitter Files stuff.

But the notion that there was a database of requests by Republicans to lobby Twitter that was played down by Mr. Free Speech Absolutist and Transparency should tell anyone with half a brain all they need to know about the validity of the notion that Twitter was carrying water for the Dems.

P.S. it remains true: every Republican accusation is a confession.

No I'm very much interested in this. IDGAF about "sides". The government shouldn't be colluding with a private company to suppress speech. When Matt Taibi says that we can't tell where the FBI ends and Twitter begins, that's a problem. I believe I said when these Twitter files first dropped that this was just the tip of the iceberg. It's clear who the true partisans are regarding this subject and it isn't me.

Fucked up, if true is something @Fisherman's Worf uses all of the time. It's a joke. I also used if true because I remember @shootER in particular saying that reporters wanted to see the emails for themselves so they can examine them even though every single Twitter file have had the emails embedded in them. Again, a joke. Funny how people don't need iron clad proof anymore. Hence the "if true."

The fact is that when this whole thing first started I was mocked and ridiculed and people ignored everything I posted to the point that I just simply gave up even bothering. Now all of the sudden Trump was involved in something trivial and petty and not something that could have affected the outcome of the election, now people care. Now we get the endless tweets.

It's like Joe Biden's consistent lies over the decades. George Santos being a liar is suddenly a big deal. Endless tweet after tweet. Now I don't give a shit about Santos and I think he should step down, but that's neither here nor there. The point is the blatant hypocrisy.

As for my comments about terrorists. Yeah, you'd think the FBI would have bigger fish to fry than trying to suppress the Hunter Biden laptop story, like pressuring Twitter to suppress the Taliban instead. Crazy, I know.
