So far, none that I've encountered. At the very least, not overt ones. Sorry to disappoint Baba.

My God. I'm just playing the intro sequence. This is... genius :soma:

OTOH, I didn't expect anything less from the makers of the Elder Scroll series. I had no idea, tho, that those games are supposed to be funny. Never played one of the older ones, and I'm laughing all the way thru

Humor is a big element of the Fallout games, and it's got to be mixed with an appropriate amount of grim desperation. That's something that Bethesda definitely got right with Fallout 3.

Now if only the game didn't have a handful of mysteriously suicidal NPCs--that's the one glitch that's really annoyed me so far. Fortunately, there are workarounds with the console if you're playing on the P.C.

So, I just left the Vault. Wow does that look cool! I always liked that look with broken buildings and all, and they got it down perfectly. I'm 30 minutes into it and I already like it better than its brother OBLIVION

That it can't deny its relationship to ES4 helps a lot, too. Map the keyboar and I don't have to learn new controls which is always a big plus!

Pretty good for the most part. Occasionally not so good, but with so much dialogue and so many characters that's bound to happen.

Well... I have just 'consorted' with a whore :soma:

And I am, of course, me.

I'm in DC now. Glorious but also unsettling.

I just finished it yesterday after about three days of solid gaming (you can do it much faster if you skip the side quests. Great game. Kinda underwhelming ending. Hopefully, expansions and mods will flow freely. Overall, very depressing.

Also: "Cause four is too many and two is too low, it’s me: THREE DOG!"

Alternatively, Burke would've given you a much nicer room if you went through with it.

If you talk her out of it, you get a huge discount with her, and a great perk for combat. Unfortunately, you lose karma.

I did that too. We're too good - should have blown that shithole up. But I was weary that there might be a ton of good side quests in there. Didn't want to lose those, so I snitched to the sheriff too.
    Ahhhh, good!

^Nope, the town is useless. Moira survives if you blow the place up.

Thought I'd been straight north... I'll have to check it out. Last night I was wandering around in the northeastern most parts and thinking to myself, "Ya know, I've never seen a deathclaw." Then I turned a corner at some rubble and saw one charging. I died. I reloaded, killed that one found another killed it. Thought I saw some stairs, but it turned out to be a grating that fell in when I stood on it, so my only choice was to enter the sewers full of Deathclaws. I died repeatedly. So I had to reload my last hard save. Fuck you Old Olney.

Old Olney is the largest concetration of Deathclaws in the game.

Little disappointed now. DC is almost entirely linear and still confusing. Must have run in circles three times now and still not closer to the damn museum. This plays almost like a first person shooter now, only more violent. Looking forward to getting out of town again - it's not only the gameplay, the (perfect!) atmosphere is kinda depressing. I hope daddy hasn't vanished into some sewer - the 'dungeons' suck as bad as OBLIVION's

Have you visted GNR? You exit into Columbus Circle, and should try to work under the circle. There's a subway access door; follow that as far south as you can go; should be at the Mall.

But yeah, see what I mean? It's a depressing game.

I'm bumbling around that hospital now. Don't think I have been to Columbus. Must have missed it somehow. I went along the river, into the Tepid Sewers and have been running in circles since.

Looking forward to the next three meter tall supermutant attacking me with a chainsaw. At last, some company :(

Yeah, DC's a maze. Drove me nuts, but I found out a lot of places I wasn't supposed to until later.

When you do get to the Mall, be sure to visit the history museum and grab every Lincoln poster/the rifle.

Ahhh, thanks. I went back now and found the door I missed earlier. Now we're talkin'!
