Leave it to Dayton to complain about being too fat to successfully navigate the aisles of a bookstore.
Too fat to navigate the aisles at a bookstore, too fat to climb a few steps, and skimming through his posts, is going to dialysis several times a week and nearly passing out, he may not make it long enough to be a grandpa. He's only 5 or so years older than me, last week I carried around 300lbs up three flights of stairs in four trips in around 5-6 minutes . I was a little winded but not out of breath.
I wasn't worth a shit when I was 300lbs...but I wasn't totally physically fucked up...jogged 2.5 miles this morning....in about 25 minutes....not great, but enough to stir up the barnacles....
I feel kinda bad for the guy. Not like, personally or anything. It's just shitty that people have to go through this and any number of things from the individual choices to the system that presents limited choices may have prolonged this and millions of other lives.
You really should do more research before posting political memes. All this proves is that you are susceptible to propaganda and cannot think on your own.
"Never worked a day" Shown evidence they did, indeed, work a day. Doubles down on the stupid. Also, Sander's net worth largely comes from book sales. Books are ideas written down. Even the Chuck Tingle ones under your bed.
But is viewing millionaires and billionaires differently unreasonable? Your meme seems to imply that it is. Many middle-class families can reasonably imagine a future where their assets total $1 million or more. Heck, that's my retirement goal, and despite having no family money and fully intending to spend most of my career in the nonprofit sector, I've figured out that it's actually feasible. Billionaires are a whole 'nother ball of wax.
Can you tell the class how our current government is limiting private individuals? Can you tell the class how our current government is “prescribing the conduct of private individuals”? Can you tell the class how our current government is eliminating citizen protections against the government? Bonus if you can tell us in your own words. Double bonus is you can do so without taking a party stance.
Well, personally I'm okay with them existing; I just think they should pay more taxes. But I also think it's defensible to argue that "several times more money than is required to ensure that you and all of your descendants can have luxurious lifestyles for their entire lives without ever having to work" does not have a valid reason to exist when there are still people living in poverty.
It’s not about a specific amount. 200 years ago, the idea of someone being a millionaire might have been just as outrageous. But, if you have no idea, nor any desire to learn why people find the wealth divide is disconcerting, perhaps you’d be better off not commenting on the subject.
For me personally, it's because I see civilization and society as made up games that humans have agreed to play instead of just constantly killing each other and taking what we want from others, and I'm only interested in playing games that are reasonably fair and somewhat balanced and fun for nearly everyone. The continued existence of billionaires that are only getting wealthier while millions of people experience nightmarish levels of poverty tells me that the current games is no longer fair or balanced, and some kind of revamp or rules change is needed. Otherwise more and more people have no incentive to continue playing along, and Elon Musk ends up literally torn apart and devoured next time he tries to host SNL.
If I’m reading that correctly, the title should be When people who don’t understand “pro-choice” attempt to make memes.
I would not say racist as christian is a philosophy and not a race, but prejudiced would certainly apply to someone like me who is wary of christians in an overall sense because of what their organized religion has done and is doing. I do not want to ban christianity, but I do watch out for christians as a standard practice.
You're asking a so-called "Christian" who posted a meme implying Muslims should be murdered just for being Muslim...
