FF's Hunter hard-on tangent from political meme thread

So let me get this straight. An article comes out that has possible negative connotations for Joe Biden during an election, the news media has for deep state operatives on like John Brennan and he says, "this looks like it has all of the hallmarks of Russian disinformation" and the media just goes, "eh, checks out" and nobody follows up on the story or questions this claim and you're fine with that?

Deep state?

Fox News had no trouble knowingly lying about the election results and knowingly lying about voting machines and knowingly lying about January 6th, but even Fox News wouldn't touch the story despite being offered the exclusive before it was released. But not because the story was and still is fishy as hell, but obviously because Fox News loves Biden and has so much love and respect for the deep state.

So nobody cares that Anthony Blinkin pushed this narrative and tried to cover up the laptop story. Par for the course I guess.

Cares? Sure. He might well have stopped Trump from getting elected. This is a good thing. I guess I'm remiss in thanking Anthony Blinken. Thank you, Anthony Blinken, for getting ahead of dubious information without actually lying about it. This is how PR should be done.

People did follow up on the story. No reputable outlet could verify the provenance of the laptop in time, so no reputable outlet published in time to affect the election. The NY Post ended up publishing doctored images as if they were true. Don't you care about that?
