Holy fuck. I did NOT expect FOX to ever throw Carlson to the wolves, especially once Dominion settled.

His incriminating texts all but forced a settlement.

Moreover, given the "I hate Trump" texts that Tucker said, I wonder if Fox considered it too dangerous to keep him in case the MAGA crowd saw him as the unbeliever that he apparently is.

Lovely. And he had no idea - he said that he would be back on Monday, but Friday was his last show. Ohh, so sad. LOL.

Oh, and he doesn't have many places left to go. So could we see him on OAN or Newsmax? Probably. Just in time for them to get sued into oblivion...

And not apparently related, Don Lemon is out at CNN as well. Could be they decided to pull the trigger there because Tucker would dominate social media today.

Anything's possible, but given that Dominion wasn't able to negotiate an on-air apology for the defamation (which would presumably be a big priority), I doubt that they would have been able to negotiate "fire these people who defamed us" into the settlement. I don't know that Dominion cares so much about getting payback against the various hosts that defamed them now that they're getting paid.

Pretty sure it went along the lines of: Insurer: Fine, we'll pay out what you have in the contract but you have to make modifications to make sure this doesn't happen again.

Fox News execs: OK guys, you can't say this list of things.

Tucker Carlson says these things. What are they doing to do, fire me? I'm the #1 host by a mile.

Fox News tell him not to again.

    Tucker Carlson says them again.

Insurer threatens to cancel their liability.

Fox: Pack your shit, Tucker. You are out. No goodbye show for you.

Not that he needs to - his net worth should give him a very comfortable life by anyone's standards even if his salary and stock options dry up right now. But these fuckers just can't stay out of the limelight, for good or ill.

Wow, it actually took fucker down. I bet that drunk ass judge lady is next. She spouted a lot of election lies. I bet they keep Hannity because he is probably slick enough to have verbally protected his spewings as opinion, but I don't watch enough to know.

This lawsuit stung big time if they fired fucker over it. That is going to send the right into a frenzy and it loses their big draw for the Nazis.

Faux is certainly reaping what it has sewn. Their elderly viewers will stay, but their radical viewers are going away.

It will be interesting to see the fallout.

He could certainly become a streaming personality. He is going to be a martyr of cancel culture for the right. He has the money and probably the industry connections to make a hell of a podcast that would get the biggest of loonies. He would stomp Shapiro, Walsh, Fuentes, or any of them.

It will be interesting to see how vile faux goes with his replacement. This is going to have a chilling effect on faux vitriol.

Tucker Carlson will be back on his feet in no time. All he has to do is negotiate a deal with Spotify or something and start a podcast and he will have an even larger audience.

I'm not sure the MAGA crowd could get much larger without organ failure. But I'll chip in for a round of burgers on the offchance.

    Back on his feet?

Dude was born on his feet 20 yards ahead of everyone else.

Tucker Swanson NcNear Carlson (of Swanson frozen food Empire) was born a millionaire, went to the best private schools in San Francisco (where he grew up) and then posh colleges.

Which makes it all worse somehow. He didn’t need to fash for money. He was born with all the money in the world he’ll ever need.

He did it because he wanted to.

Because he is an inherently bad person.

So of course you are a fan here supporting him.

In short, if what Dominion uncovered gets to the Smartmatic trial, FOX is fucked.

How am I supporting him? You really need to read a dictionary. All I did was simply state a fact. How does that show support?

What you stated isn't a fact. It's an opinion.

    https://www.dictionary.com/browse/fact

    https://www.dictionary.com/browse/opinion
That your opinion is likely to come to be a fact does not change that it is not completely certain. The future is generally not.

But let's put the question to you directly:

Assuming it comes to pass that Carlson comes back from parting ways with Fox with a bigger audience than he had at Fox, do you think that is a good thing, bad thing, indifferent thing?
