I call bullshit on no reminder to turn off the cell phone. There is no theaters that fail to nag about that at least once if not three times before the movie. I also don't see the big deal about a reminder to recycle the glasses as long as it's not in the middle of the film. Much ado about nothing.
This thread looks even better if read while wearing 3D glasses stolen from the movie theater to avoid recycling them.
The cost of the glasses is already incorporated into the price of the ticket. If you recycle them, the theater pockets the money on not having to buy/manufacture another pair. Theaters don't give a damn about the environment, they want the extra money. I recycle them because I think recycling the better choice.
