It's impossible to get rid of Tererun once you contract it.
Even if you go into the registry to manually clean it out, it moves its core DLLs around with mutating filenames, then clones back at the next bootup.

He does not have to do all that tracking down with me, I would gladly meet one of my opponents and have a good meal with them. It would not be the first time I met someone I thought was an asshole online. Though I am not going to go way out of my way to meet dayton. It would have to be a meeting of convenience for me. Still, it is not like I do not travel around a lot.

It seems to me he got really butthurt because things got really personal with him. Still, he advertises he real life information so he should know people are going to use it in arguments to mock him. He really should not be using his real name in discussions considering how touchy he is. Yes, I am saying that recognizing I can be pretty touchy too.

Being an "open" board with lax rules does not mean you can be an assclown forever with no repurcussions. Castles ban is more questionable, but this isn't. Everyone knows Dayton wasn't banned for his politics or for being a "Christian". People got tired of veiled threats, constant attempts to just piss people off, attempts to get people banned by manipulating the mods and/or rules etc...

My favorite Daytonism was over on TBBS (I think he admitted it here too). He outright admitted he was trying to hurt people's enjoyment of the new Battlestar Galactica by trolling them and the show (he may not have used the word troll). He stated he wanted to hurt their enjoyment and drive them away from the show (a stupid plan) so the ratings would drop and the show would b canceled. His reason? He wanted the continuation of BSG TOS. When told what a dickish attitude that was, he defended it as a valid way to get what he wants.

That's the moment I completely understood the kind of person he is.

I thought it was a pretty weak ban myself. After all the constant repeated attacks many on this board has done to him I'm surprised he didn't threaten to confront some of you sooner. He didn't threaten with violence, he just wanted to see if some of you were as much a dick in real life as you are behind the keyboard. His ban pretty much answers that question.
