Yep got another toy...S&W M&P 15X for $999.00 after rebate at the gun show. Doesn't have the M4 feed ramps but then again I'm not planning on firing full auto. So it doesn't bother me that much. Just something that is probably gonna slightly bug me. I am kicking my self in the ass though. A vendor had a slightly used 6920 for $1300.00. Well the show was kinda dead today. If I had managed to think about it for a minute, I probably could have walked in there today at about 4:30 and gotten it for $1000.00 to $1100.00 cash (I.e. no tax, no record). Oh well. So now my 6920 wont be so lonely. I think I'm going to save up for a ACOG and then take my EoTech and move it to the S&W. I'm also probably going to build a DYI flash light. Next project is to build an LMT. I don't know if I'm just going to order a completed upper and then a completed lower or build it from scratch. Though I do have to say that the new Masada that Magpull licensed to Bushmaster has very much so piqued my interest. It will be interesting to see how closely BM follows Magpulls specifications.
