I Deman...We Should Have A Video Games Forum!

For threads related to video games, consoles, computer games, etc. Since there has been arguments as to whether they belong in Media Central or Geekforge, they should all be moved to the new video game forum!

It will be a blast! We can talk about everything from Street Fighter moves to Starcraft strategies. I don't care if I mod it, but I would definitely contribute.

I approve of this idea.

I always thought video game threads went in Geekforge/Wordforge Labs since the forum description says computer discussion, and video games are basically computers.

I'm certainly not against the idea.

Get enough support and I don't see why we can't try it. It's easy enough to undo if it doesn't work out.

It would simplify things, although the guideline has been video games in MC, computer games in WFL.

I refuse to start threads in the labs, whether they be console or pc. Media Central is where the belong at the moment.

A videogame forum could be a good idea though, if only to laugh at all the console fanboys.

We used to have a video game forum, nobody used it.



Media Central is a forum for "all things that joyfully waste your time" which certainly includes gaming.

Whatever you do, don't make it a graveya... er, subforum.

No, it was the Arcade forum. You could brag about your high score till someone came and beat it 6 months later. Yay!

And I agree with my Azn brotha' Ramen. If it is going to be a forum, make it an actual forum for awhile and not a sub forum.

If it doesn't work out, then by all means, close it, but at least give it a few months.

It would be a departure from the "Rooms" norm, but Wordforge Labs and Media Central already are an exception to that rule.

Mainframe sounds too computerish. Insert Coin, although catchy, denotes an arcade, a forum that hasn't worked in the past.
