The War Room (though the definition isn't really obvious in the name)

I suppose we could cop out with The Copper Room.

Midway are a bunch of dirty bastards and can goto hell.

Just some less than pleasant corporate stuff they did to an Australian developer.

How about the PS3 > Xbox2 Room?

That's already called the White Room .

Tell you what, we'll compromise. We'll call it the Gigantic Money Pit < Xbox2 Room.

We're just switching the operator .

This stuff is why if a room is created the rules will have to be a little more relaxed than media central, because nothing is funnier than watching you console fanboys go at it.

Gee, I was gonna say that I liked "The Midway," being as that's what the game section of the carnie is called. Or the state fair. Pleasant memories there.

speaking as a true game geek myself I'm all for it. Insert Coin sounds pretty hep.

How about if I look at all the names suggested and make a poll in the Green Room titled "If we have a video game forum, I'd call it..." and then list the options?
I'd give this thread until Friday before making the poll, because I learned well from the Forgies that people need time to make suggestions.

'The Arcade.'

We already have a Wordforge arcade.

Console games are not arcade games though. (well, except maybe Xbox games, which you play for a few hours then get bored of). And it seemed the arcade forum that existed before was made just to talk about the Wordforge Arcade. It may have been meant for video games, but it was in a sub-forum and tucked away in another forum, so very few people actually visited it.

Yeah, I mean, with the PS3, I can play games that look like this for hours on end:
