Most of the shooting was at three yards. About the longest it ever got was 7ish yards.

Well, I'm a noob at this glasses thing. I don't think I'm quite ready to start jamming things onto my eyeballs. :calli:

^That does take some getting used to!

But contacts are only if you need correction full time, of course. If you just need glasses for distance or reading, never mind. :)

Yeah, if you just need to put your glasses on if you're gonna be in a shooting, I stay stick with glases.

Shoes, on thing I have recently heard of from another shooter is bi-focal contact lenses. I have no idea how they work, but he was saying how the bifocals give him a fantastic sight picture.

Bi focals have two strengths of lenses - a small place you look through for close up, and the rest for normal viewing.

    Old people wear them.

    Like Benjamin Franklin.

If I ever DO do contacts, I have to have one eye brown, one eye blue...like David Bowie.

...how can there be bifocal contacts? It would get painful holding your contact in place while you move your eye to the spot on the contact that gives you the second focal range... no?

Please re-read my first post on this. I said I have no idea how they work, just that the guy got em. Maybe he was full of shit. But all I know is what I was told.

I just got it - he was making a joke. Bi-focals - two eyes, each with a contact lense.

    That just looks painful.

If you've ever had your contacts suddenly get dry and then you get some grit in there... at that point you literally want someone to shoot you in the head.
