Well, for one thing, the people sitting at the phones aren't the people who set the system up. And depending on how their auto-dialer's software is configured, they may see everything, or they may see nothing, not even a name. Based on how their scam works, I'd bet on the latter.

Funniest (but harmless) anecdote. My phone rings, it's an Indian accent. I don't have time for any sales pitch (or creditors) I'm trying to make dinner.
I tell him I'm busy, call back later. About 30 seconds later the phone rings again. It's the same guy, who says "okay, it is later now!"

"A girl is far more responsible for rape than a boy," Singh said. "A decent girl won't roam around at 9 o'clock at night ... Housework and housekeeping is for girls, not roaming in discos and bars at night doing wrong things, wearing wrong clothes."

That kind of attitude is beyond sickening. I'm not entirely supportive of the death penalty but something tells me I'd have no problem watching this piece of filth hang.
