It's fucking great that this weird as MF has a reasonable shot at being POTUS in the next few years.

I wore a shirt when I went swimming when I was a kid/teenager. I did this because if I tried to take my shirt off, everyone panicked and insisted I needed to keep it on because if I took it off, the glare from the sun/fluorescent lights reflecting off my pale, fat body would blind them and then they'd have to sue me. Even if I wasn't around them, I thought maybe if I kept my shirt on, no one would know I was fat.

I do not do this as an adult. I go swimming now, shirt comes off. Hell, I went to a nudist resort for a weekend a few years ago and was naked the whole time.

Much like with the couch fucking, there are just some things one should stop doing before they hit their twenties.

I wear a shirt in the pool/at the beach and I'm old as fuck. I'm ashamed of my fat stomach and man boobies. Can't expose others to that level of gross.

There are shirts you can wear in the pool that are meant for that. My son wears them sometimes to prevent sunburn.
But for modesty? Nah. I stopped feeling modesty in college. You shake that off real quick when you're sharing a room and have to walk down a hallway for communal showers.
