From what I see the more Radical/assholish leftists are making this their stand. They want a scalp over Gaza and have picked the Jew to give it to them. Don’t really feel great about it but fine. Let them have their W. Not like Walz is a bad choice at all.
“If you did not find moral clarity on Saturday morning, and you find yourself waiting to think about what you needed to say, you need to reevaluate where you’re at." - Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, who ordered state flags to half-mast, 7 October 2023.
I believe that's how he will argue it. For my own part, I can only say it's questionable. Anything short of absolute border control, with the only pathway to citizenship starting legally from day one. Alternatively, no tax-funded benefits, including public school for your kids, for anyone who has not been a tax-paying, legal citizen for at least 10 years.
On the basis that she would basically be a continuation of the Biden administration, no matter how you excuse it. I'm not offering anyone special permission to exploit the legal system to undermine political opponents. I would just take it as more evidence that there are no saints, that they are all corrupt shitbags I should not trust. Depends on the individual, which I don't care to get into that deeply. I will say I have seen nothing to justify holding anyone that long without trial, and it wouldn't be unreasonable to demand that be expedited.
So, which part do you think is questionable? The lawsuit over his election interference in GA? The lawsuit over his cache of classified documents he refused to return? Or the lawsuit over his encouragement of open insurrection?
You're not impressing anyone with hyperbole, and you're not going to cast me as a Trump supporter by virtue of my not taking everything at face value. I believe Georgia is the one with serious corruption and conflict of interest. The classified document case seems only an exaggerated step or two from what evert other president does. And encouragement of open insurrection is also a stretch. You can cherrypick quotes that can be interpreted that way, while others can cherrypick other quotes from around the same time indicating otherwise. I'm sure you've heard both and chose to disregard the one that doesn't suit your opinions, so do not ask me to link it for you again today.
It's hilarious to think that Uncle Albert actually fancies himself as the only sane man in an echo chamber full of deluded liberals.
You know, I wondered how on Earth people could look at Trump's activities and think "Gosh, that man is being railroaded." Now I know. "An exaggerated step or two" in this case being "lying to the FBI, refusing to return documents, purposely trying to hide them from the authorities, and bragging to guests about having them." "Serious corruption and conflict of interest" as opposed to calling Raffensberger personally and telling him to "find" more votes. And if you can show me even ONE quote of him telling people not to engage in violent insurrection, besides his mealy-mouthed "We love you" line, I'm all ears. It's interesting because, for someone who consistently whines about due process, it's hard for me to understand how you can be suspicious of these trials when every one of them went before a grand jury first before charges were filed. So... where is the miscarriage of justice?
You'd think a straight shooter like Uncle Albert would applaud efforts to root out political corruption, no matter the politician's party affiliation.
That’s an understatement, though. He took a team that had lost like every game the year before he got there and like in a year or two turned them into state champs.
But I thought Charles was in charge? Do we know if Waters did not let the air out of chuck's tires and kidnap him, and now Baio is tied up in his dungeon in a gimp suit? It is his MO.
LOL, there's a ton of Trump supporters who ignore his grift because he'll "drain the swamp" or "fight the deep state" you might want to explain this to.
