That would be true if I were in the habit of asking for PMs- I rather liked being able to see the beauty of some of the WFers without having to ask for PMs everytime someone mentions a photo session.

I also liked the prospect of some of the other possibilities that could come from having such a room, like the erotic stories, sexual discussion and advice, things of that nature.

It is just another failed expirement that was ruined by the immature.

Nup, it was ruined by the fact that people weren't thinking through what they were doing before doing it.

As Tamar has said many a time, if you post something on the internet and expect it to stay private, you are definitely misleading yourself. Honestly I just hope that the posters involved have learnt their lesson and keep this to other messageboards designed for the purpose where they can be completely anonymous, or keep it to pm's among people they trust.

Naw... but Dan, I think the concern is that it isn't just mickey-taking. If you know enough about someone and have a big enough grudge, you could make their RL uncomfortable.

I just think it's right to apply caution... sure, everyone here is pretty trusting of one another but once you have pics leaking everywhere you might get some creep trying to track you down because they think it's an open invitation or summink.

It's necessary, to a certain degree...not everyone have manners.

The point is about never revealing more on the internet than you would be comfortable with people who know you in real life knowing.

I don't see a reason to hide my real life identity on these boards, because even as an anonymous poster, I wouldn't reveal anything that I wouldn't want other people I know finding out, or that could be used against me.

By invitation only meaning that instead of a public announcement only those invited would know of the forum's existence. An invite by PM, not a public request to apply for admission.

No...the room was there for all to see and you had to ask to be allowed to view it.
