Unless we start building 50 mile high platforms and preparing to let 6 billion people die so 1 billion can live on the platforms and allow the glaciers to melt, ... But, even then, it's not like we know of a neighboring galactic empire willing to trade with us. Also, our cloning technology sucks.
Is each platform 50 miles high, or are there 50 of them that are each a mile high? Either way, seems excessive.
Just the white ones. Aha, that's the answer. We just need more Black oil company execs. Then Magaworld will be able to see them as a threat.

If only russia had listened to Putin's puppet and learned how to rake their forests none of this would have happened.
It works in conjunction with the internet and wireless communications. I am pretty sure with modern technology I could force jerk some rando in south africa if I wanted. My only weakness would be water in between the victim and whatever form of wireless broadcasting station is near them.
A Canadian friend of mine has built a Corsi-Rosenthal box to deal with the smoke caused by the fires. Supposedly, they can be used to get COVID particles out of the air, but I'm not certain if I'd trust one for that.
There are folks who send naughty pictures around the world with ham radio, so I assume this is possible. No modern technology needed.
I think you might be underestimating just how fucking stupid a good proportion of the human species is.
Well, so much for the Southwestern United States. TLDR: The Colorado river and its associated reservoirs are drying up. We've known this for at least two decades (or more), but no one has really been doing anything about it. This is going to create all kinds of issues -- not just water shortages, but power generation as well.
