The Rams should have stayed in the locker room at halftime.

If the Ravens can develop some mental discipline and avoid those mental breakdowns they suffered in their "letdown loss" against Tennessee, they could dominate the AFC.

I can't believe the Cowboys managed to win tonight. I'm very pleased though. :techman:

You can't believe that Rex Grossman fumbled to lose a game?

I can't believe how hit-or-miss the Jets defense has been so far, especially Cromartie. The swings between stifling and sievelike have been excruciating.

At least we can count on Revis. And it's been fun watching Asomuga look kinda pathetic so far this season. In both the Eagles games I've seen so far he's looked quite bad, tackling like a toreador against the Giants and one of the worst pass interference efforts I've ever seen against the Rams--on a probably uncatchable ball downfield in the endzone he had his left forearm against the back of the receiver's neck and pushed down on the receiver's right should with his left hand to reach over the top and come nowhere near batting away the uncatchable ball.

18-16? The Boys win without a touchdown? The Skins almost win despite Grossman?

This rivalry ain't what it used to be.

They announced the 1st year eligibles for the Hall of Fame - the only guys that are strong candidates are Parcells and Will Shields. The rest are good, but not great.

Hopefully this will mean some really deserving guys get in, especially at the WR position. Cris Carter, Tim Brown and Andre Reed. Curtis Martin should make it soon at RB, and the Bus will probably get in, his personality being a big help. Charles Haley should make it, Cortez Kennedy would be a lock if he played on a better team but should eventually make it too. Derrick Brooks and Aeneas Williams. I hope Kevin Greene does (he was a great sacker and a lot of fun) but might be too much of a specialist to make it any time soon.

Jesus, Houston is steamrolling the Steelers! The offense is doing well, the defense is doing even better! The only thing holding the Texans back are all the damned penalties being commited.

Check out the sweet defensive play the Bills just made. Picked up a loose ball that was blocked from touching the ground by the receiver's body, then ran it for six. Damn if these guys aren't starting to look real...

Okay, my Bills lost a tough one. The Skins hang on, and it's mighty cold in Philly tonight.

Listening to sports talk radio in Philadelphia is priceless on a Monday after a loss.

I hearby nominate "Missed Tackle" as MVP of the first quarter of the season. But "Stupid Penalty" and "Blown Coverage" are in the running as well.

Simply dominating defense in Baltimore. Harkens back to the 2000 Ravens.

Now if Flacco can start completing a few passes...

Although Unitas cut off all associations with the Colts when they moved to Indy, it is still a rather low-class move for the Colts to reassign #19. But what do you expect from an Irsay?

The 49ers have a winning season so far, 4-1. And the Lions are 5-0. I'm so confused. Happy (for the Niners), but so very, very confused.

No. Green Bay and Buffalo in the Superbowl. Detroit is good but I think Green Bay is just that much better that they can pull out a win over them.

And I'm so glad the Eagles are tanking. They are frauds. FRAUDS. Always talking like they are kings but they never do shit in the end.

Oh and the Dolphins are 0-1 against the bye week. We can't even win against a week off. :(

Yeah, Detroit is doing well but the Packers are a freakin' machine. Or, more correctly, Aaron Rodgers is a machine. Holy cow they're looking good so far. :wtf:

Detroit is a mirage. They've had two insane comeback wins and didn't look all that good against the Bears last night. Lots of penalties and they didn't take advantage of the Bears horrible O-line. And that Jahvid Best run was a joke. 88 yards without being touched. What a gift.

But they are not without their chinks in the armor. They were sloppy in the first half against Atlanta. Yeah they won but it shouldn't have been as close as it was.

You know what's a great play for third down when you aren't getting any yards after the catch?

Throwing short of the first down. Works every time!

I'm watching Giants-Bills now, 'cause that's what's on. I used to believe that if you tackle the receiver with the ball in the air and don't look back until the ball hits you in the back that that's pass interference. I guess I was wrong.

And checking box scores at the moment, apparently Rex Grossman is who we thought he was.

I was hoping that the stadium would collapse on both the Redskins and Eagles.

I expected Dallas to lose, though by a lot more than what they did. The Texans and the Saints both losing on the same day put a smile on my face. :)

As a Jets fan I was rooting for Dallas and the Giants today. I think I threw up in my mouth a little bit several times today, but the whole experience was so traumatic that I've mostly just blocked it out so I can't be sure.

I want a cage match of Jim Harbaugh vs Jim Schwartz.

And tonight I get to watch me Dolphins most likely crash and burn against the Jets. :(

Hopefully Brandon, aka Borderline Personality Disorder, Marshall lives up to his hype of going crazy and getting himself thrown out of the 2nd quarter so we can have some entertainment.

I'll take Harbaugh in that cage match. Schwartz was acting like a sore loser. He just didn't appreciate getting beaten in his own house.

I'm looking forward to the SF-Baltimore game on Thanksgiving- Harbaugh vs. Harbaugh!

And this NY-Miami game tonight is likely full of fail.
