I mean, really? Pretty soft Fair enough, however it doesn't really look to me like he's speaking in a professional capacity in the Twitter comments or as a guest on Mr Ivermectin's podcast (although I admit I have not listened to that particular interview)
yeah.. it's the SUn... might as well be UA writing it for all the objectivity and weasel words. the "re-education" he's drama queening over is pretty basic shit for someone who's decided professional standards somehow don't apply to him personally. You join a professional organization for the benefits and credibility it provides, then damn skippy you're obligated to reflect it's standards and contribute to maintaining that credibility.
and this isn't as limp as wet pasta? "He said that he doesn’t trust the process and that is why he is skipping the appeal process and heading straight to court to ask that the Charter be respected and the College’s excesses be reined in."
Well, in the context of undermining the credibility of the profession in the public eye. Have you eaten at Subway since Federal Farmer changed his av to a swastika? Me neither. Their argument was “Dr. Peterson sees himself functioning as a clinical psychologist ‘in the broad public space’ where he claims to be helping ‘millions of people,'” which is pretty fair. He's got "Dr." and "clinical psychologist" in his twitter bio, so he's clearly leveraging his professional designation to lend credibility to his increasingly Rupi Kaur-like ramblings.
Jordan Peterson does no research or experiments. What he does is read shit and give his opinion based upon his academic credentials. He tourts his position as a reason for you to take his opinion more strognly than others. When his opinion differs from those who he is citing as the authority behind his opinion then they should take it away from him, or require him to renew his familiarity with their conclusions. If JP had research of his own to spout on then he could defend that. But it seems his only reason for being in the conversation is he represents the views of the academic authority that certifies him, then he has to abide by their choice to endorse him or not. Jordan's problem is he is trying to use someone else's endorsement to make himself look like an authority while spouting falsehoods. It looks bad for them to endorse him when he says stupid crazy shit. None of them are stopping him from saying the stupid shit he is saying. They are just telling the world they don;t endorse him when he starts souting crazy shit and points to them saying they certify me.
Funny how when your brain is munched on by covid and benzo withdrawal, you become a "the bitches are all lying!!" paranoid. Almost like it's a pathology for people with diminished capacity, and not a legit belief pattern. Nah, that can't be, cuz freedom of speech, and 'Murca and all that.
I think it is more the effect of CHUD rot for celebrities who fall in with the INCELS. It seems you have to catch yourself real fast being an edgelord and not actually believe fully in the awful things you say. It is sarcasm for a reason. You are not supposed to make it real.
There was a "Dark Side Of The 2000's" last night on the shock jocks. Shock jocks were just edgelords with a microphone instead of a keyboard. Edgelords go one of two ways, they edge themselves all the way up to Nazi, or they become an old man trying to get into Heaven. Anthony from Opie & Anthony is the former, Howard Stern is the latter. So, which will it be, UA? Slur words and spousal abuse, or apology tour?
I'd define Frankie Boyle as an edgelord, but I don't think he'll go Nazi or try to (or want to) get into Heaven, unless he's storming Heaven to headbutt God.
Remember when the right and the left were on the same page about the Charlie Hebdo bombing? Where'd all those righties go? Did a flying saucer suck them all up, and take them to the "Last Starfighter" planet? Or were they just fake liars who only wanted the freedom to piss on Muslims? It's that one, isn't it?
Jordon's really scared of watching that stupid training tape. Is the girl from "The Ring" on it? Does Canada make bigots watch "The Ring" tape? Canada's suddenly way more awesome if that's a thing.
meh-he's the Andrew Wakefield of psychiatry. If he's incapable of meeting the standards of the profession, than the governing body is within its rights and by definition there to censure him. That's life in the land of adults /shrug
Unless you're in public relations or something, offending people on Twitter has zero bearing on your ability to do your job. If he were condemned to a similar struggle session for failing to uphold Christian values, I am positive many of you would be singing a different tune.
The fuck do YOU know about "the world," Curly Sue? You know it extends beyond the driveway, and after the street lights go out, right?
I know pink haired college girls and their trans friends aren't ninja-sneaking through the plumbing to eat my cereal and potato chips. The burnt nugget of meatloaf between your ears can't seem to steer away from that particular delusion.
Beware. UA's hand magnet, @Jenee , will be here shortly to tell you about how wrong you are about her puddin. It is not very nice to make him soi angry she has to go into work with two black eyes tomorrow to pay for his new bike tire.
"Need" implies practical, objective terms. By all means, line your Thunderdome with functional adult challenges. See what the fuck happens.
Like the English language, and your grasp of it from post 504 onward? Yeah, you're having some trouble there.
Shapiro only knows the term Rampant from his wife's Rabbit. And her non-moist ladyparts are again only applicable when he's in the room.
