INFP, but I was borderline on all except the Perceiving.

I've discussed this with a friend of mine. I might fall into INFP overall, but it's not unheard of me to switch, depending on my mood and the company I have around me.

I didn't take the test anew, but I have several times before:

    ENTJ

Interestingly, if you can determine the types of people you interact with, you can make valid predictions about their behavior. I worked with a new manager who gave the employees a version of this same test (I'm sure because he wanted to know how to press our buttons) and he displayed his own results along with ours. I noted that he was an ISTJ--very strong S, very strong T, very strong J.

A while later, an engineer I was working with started to fall into the habit of being late for meetings and receiving cell phone calls during the meetings, for which he was taken to task by the new manager. After this happened a couple of times, I told this engineer that, based on our manager's personality type, he was going to draw very firm conclusions on a small set of data and that he had best straighten out before he gave the manager any more "negative datapoints." The engineer didn't listen; he was gone a month or so later.

"ISTJs are responsible, loyal and hard working. They have an acute sense of right and wrong and work hard at preserving established norms and traditions. Because of their deep sense of duty they are dedicated to everything they do and are very dependable. ISTJs care deeply for those closest to them."

Depending on which website's test I take, I'm either an INTP or an INTJ.

However, reading through the descriptions of both, the INTP type seems to describe me better.
