    Someone did a study a few years ago and found that there's not enough food available in the loch to support a creature as large as Nessie. I'd say that closes the matter.

    And, to their credit, the museum at Loch Ness has an exhibit about that very study, highlighting the unlikelihood of any large creature being able to survive in that environment.
