I'm probably the least likely to carry on a daily basis - I work in a gun-free zone (a military installation). If I had one in my car I couldn't travel to work & back.

Nothing stops you from carrying onto a base every day unless they're searching you every day, and even then it would depend on the level of the search.

I advocate carrying always, that's my opinion, you choose how to run your life how you want.

No, nothing is physically stopping me that is true - they never search. There's just a huge signing saying guns are prohibited and that you will be committing a federal offense. Personally I like having money and freedom - two things I cannot get in a federal penitentiary.

A drunk is unpredictable, so, either its an easy disarm, or he just fires a shot off before you even get to that point. It's hard to take you at all seriously when you say things like that.

I said healthy adults. This necessarily means sober. You shouldn't need to be told that. Not everyone in a given bar is even drinking let alone over the legal BAC and into "drunk". Every single one of those individuals should be armed.

And please stop acting like being drunk can't be helped. It's a choice, not an immutable condition. If you "can't" carry because you chose to get drunk, you're the person at fault, not others who want you to be armed for the sake of the public good.

I see it more as a sad state of affairs and an overall commentary on the shitty social situation you have in your country that you can't do something as simple and benign as going to the bar without packing heat.
