I believe that's 445, if I'm seeing it correctly. Six 45s on a 45lb bar is 315. Two 35s make that 385. 50 from the 25s make that.....435. So, in conclusion, I'm retarded.
It was supposed to be your deadlift, put there to prove you're actually doing this. Only it was on someone elses sever, and they got pissed you're hot linking. Hmmm.
I don't have a video for my deadlift, or any of my deadlifts. I just figured he wanted to know what I was doing.
I tried to take a video, and the fucking phone decided to ring right at the start of my lift. So the camera shut off, and I couldn't stop the lift. Meh. 3x225#, 2x315#, 1x365#, 1x450#, 2x3x285#.
Well, on a new program today. More squat focused, but I will still be doing DLs every Wednesday. Should be fun.
DL day. 5x225# 5x315# 5x365# 5x400# Interesting, add all that weight together, and its a total of around 6500# lifted.
Took a much needed break. 12 days or so. Of course I had to get in one workout at least during that time. Back at it this week. 5x225# 4x295# 3x345# 2x370# 1x400#
Impressive. I tried some deadlifts last night. Without pushing myself too hard, and noting that I have a bad back, I did 3 x 6 x 40kg, which is about 90lbs. And the muscles are pretty sore today.
90# if you have sciatic nerve problems is impressive as well. Make sure that the muscles are actually sore, and that your sciatic nerve isn't acting up again. Deadlifts are awesome, but if you have back problems, it only takes one bad lift to fuck everything up.
Yeah, I've taken advise from physio's about what I can and can't do. Strenghtening the muscles by doing deadlifts will help fix the problem. It will only cause further damage if my form isn't correct or I push it too far too quickly.
Well I'm impressed that you're actually going with it. I have a few friends with sciatic nerve problems too, and they're scared shitless of doing deadlifts.
I think I died. 7x225# 6x295# 5x345# 4x370# 2x400# Attempted 1x420#, couldn't get my back straight. Then I did some sprints mixed with 35# weight swings. Then I died.
Nothing like drinking raw eggs for breakfast. This is the first time I've been able to get them down without puking.
I tried to get 4 down this morning, and I probably puked 2 of them out. I just drank 3 with a cup of milk. No problem getting them down. I didn't even choke. Hell, I hardly tasted the eggs. Problem is I wanted to go at least till the 20th without drinking milk. In the midst of doing 4 weeks with as few carbs as I possibly can. Minus the cheat meals, etc, etc. But alas, its only 12g crabs, so no big deal.
Looks like I'll actually be drinking milk until the 25th afterall. Paleo says no milk, but I'll be damned if I'm going to eat raw eggs and puke 50% of them out everytime. Had 500mL of milk with 5 raw eggs this morning. Worked good.
The dangers of raw eggs are vastly overstated. If you're careful to get 'em in the fridge as quickly as possible, you avoid cracked eggs, and you're otherwise healthy then there's little reason to avoid them. There's lots of good food that requires raw eggs (albeit mostly desert related items that wouldn't be on the menu for someone in training), and if you feel you get a benefit from consuming them while training, then consume. Sure, their usefulness in various training is probably overstated as well, but next to the training themselves raw eggs are harmless.
