Four directors and two writers up for Dr. Strange.

Interesting to me, is this bit...

I know how to do it, because it's right in the comic.

With Thor, the magic is really alien tech; Dr. Strange's magic is dimensional.

In Strange's world, dreams aren't just in your head, but dimensions of the universe, and dreams within dreams take you into deeper realms.
"Magic", is just when you bring dream physics back with you.
So, think "Matrix", meets "Inception", taken to the next step.

I've been reading the new Black Widow comic and I'm liking it a lot. The theme is that she's doing mercenary work, but it's all in an effort to earn money to make amends for her past. I think if a film were pursued along those lines it could work very well.

And if it's got Scarlett Johannson running around in tight leather clothes, I'm definitely in. :diacanu:

^Why I'm glad Disney is taking over Star Wars. They take care of their IP and plan out DECADES.

Holy moly, you don't think they'd have him playing the Comet, do you? That's waaaaaaaaaaaaay obscure!

Oh wait . . . Avengers: Age of Ultron stinger, not Guardians of the Galaxy. Hmmm . . . what character is of the right age . . . One of the Elders, maybe?

personally, I don't particularly want him buried in some fringy role as a Green Lantern ripoff in an ugly helmet. I'd rather wait and hope it gets to play Hal Jordan myself. If he is going to be in the Marvel movies better something that is suited to take advantage of his charm I would think (not that I know a damn thing about Nova/Richard Ryder)

    Marvel's production schedule.
The "TBD",s will be plugged up when they make their Comicon announcements, but, we're nerds, why not let's get speculating now?

August 1st 2014: "Guardians of the Galaxy"
May 1st 2015: "Avengers: Age of Ultron"
    July 17th 2015: "Ant-Man"
    May 6th 2016: "Captain America 3"
July 8th 2016: TBD (likely "Doctor Strange")
    May 5th 2017: TBD
    July 28th 2017: TBD
    November 3rd 2017: TBD
    July 6th 2018: TBD
    November 2nd 2018: TBD
    May 3rd 2019: TBD

    My (wild ass) guesses:

    May 6th 2016: "Captain America 3"
    July 8th 2016: "Doctor Strange"
    May 5th 2017: "Thor 3"
July 28th 2017: "Guardians of the Galaxy 2"
    November 3rd 2017: "Black Panther"
    July 6th 2018: "Avengers 3"
    November 2nd 2018: "Planet Hulk"
May 3rd 2019: "Iron Man 4" (Yep, I said it. I think the franchise is too valuable to lay dormant...RDH will hand off to a new IM)...if there's another Marvel film this same summer, it will be "Doctor Strange 2"

I can't see a Planet Hulk even vaguely similar to the comic story happening, mainly as it'd mean very little Ruffalo, although I'm sure Lou Ferrigno would appreciate the voice over work.

I can see a Hulk in Space forming the spine which would lead Thanos to Earth for Avengers 3 though.

While I'm no doubt wrong about Planet Hulk, my prediction for Iron Man 4 may be pretty accurate...and RDJ sounds open to continue playing the role!

Marvel added another mystery movie onto their timeline.
May 4th, 2018, (between where Paladin placed Black Panther, and Avengers 3)

    So, here it is again.

May 1, 2015 – Avengers: Age of Ultron
    July 17, 2015 – Ant-Man
    May 6, 2016 – Captain America 3
July 8, 2016 – Untitled Marvel Studios Film
May 5, 2017 – Untitled Marvel Studios Film
July 28, 2017 – Untitled Marvel Studios Film
November 3, 2017 – Untitled Marvel Studios Film
May 4, 2018 – Untitled Marvel Studios Film
July 6, 2018 – Untitled Marvel Studios Film
November 2, 2018 – Untitled Marvel Studios Film
May 3, 2019 – Untitled Marvel Studios Film

Could it be a female hero?
    Ms. Marvel? Solo Black widow?

One day RDJ says he's interested in playing Iron Man again and the next a film gets dropped into the primo summer spot? I don't believe in coincidence. The May 4th date (my birthday!) is Iron Man 4.

They plan on rebooting the franchise 100 years from now? Isn't that a bit optimistic?
