Jared Leto is going to be Morbius The Living Vampire, as part of Sony's Spidey-Spinoff-Verse. To jog your memory, cuz this was announced several pages ago, Morbius is a guy who mad-sciences himself into a vampire, then becomes a Spidey villain, then becomes an anti-hero. I'm sure they'll skip ahead to the anti-hero part for the movie. He's kind of the prototype for The Crow. http://www.darkhorizons.com/jared-leto-to-lead-spidey-spin-off-morbius/
Interesting. I'm not a big fan of these Spidey-less Spidey-spinoffs (and, so far, Venom isn't really inspiring me to change that position), but I guess I'll see what they do with it. Leto's a very talented guy and I hope we get to see him as the Joker again.
Yeah. Leto's Joker was a hot mess. Easily the least interesting take on the character I've seen and a big reason why Suicide Squad was such a disappointing movie.
The title for Avengers 4 may be "Avengers: End Game". Source- https://www.cbr.com/report-avengers-4-title-confirmed-endgame/
Tony Stark's gonna come back from the bad future with tech that'll armor Thor up in nano-plating and allow him to fire transphasic torpedoes, but really Stark's gonna let Thanos absorb him and then go "hahahaha must be something you ate" as Thanos keels over from the same techno-organic virus that Cable has (Deadpool pops up to give us all the juicy details on how Stark contracted it). Then Black Widow's gonna hook up with whoever the Marvel equivalent of Chakotay is, I wanna say Black Panther for the simplistic race/mysticism stereotypes but Panther's actually interesting so that doesn't work.
Given all the secrecy about the title, I was expecting "Avengers: I'm Not Dead Yet!" with an end clip of Thor finding the remaining Asgardians and informing one called Dennis he was their king only to discover they'd become an anarcho-syndicalist commune...
More female directors are coming to the MCU starting with the director of Black Widow. Announcements coming soon. https://www.cbr.com/kevin-feige-teases-announcements-about-more-female-mcu-directors/
Really don't care if the director is male, female, or other. Just make a good movie, respect the source material, and have fun.
Marvel and DC are in a vagina arms race now, and DC is ahead. I'm fascinated. If you're not, oh well.
Yeah sorry, the only basis I use for interacting with people is "how annoying are they?" Other than that, I don't feel a particular need to sort the baboons into boxes.
If Spidey punches a cross-dresser whilst in a bear suit it'll still make more sense than the Clone Saga.
This deleted scene from Civil War hints at an interesting direction for the MCU... Lest you think I'm joking, Cap himself weighs in on the subject.
Cate Shortland has been officially picked to direct Black Widow. She was at the top of the short list, and she was even Johansson's favorite, so it seemed like a done deal all along, but I wanted to be sure. http://www.darkhorizons.com/cate-shortland-set-to-direct-marvels-black-widow/
Uh, set before Avengers? Scarlett looks great, but I'm not sure she's gonna pull off 10 years younger. She looks quite a bit different than she did in Iron Man 2. I guess they could use the youthify machine on her...
Well, look at how older more ripped Hugh Jackman was in prequels to when he was baby-faced, and less jacked. Did that ruin those movies? I submit not.
I'll be honest here.... as good of a job that has been pulled off with the Marvel Movies, I'm actually getting kind of bored with them. I watched every Marvel movie in the theater up to Thor: Ragnorak, After that I stopped really caring whether or not I saw them in the theater and have put off watching them either when they come out on BluRay or Netflix. And on a similar note, I've watched every Star Wars movie in the theater, but after Solo and TLJ, I'm sort of not caring to see the rest in the theater either.
