The Guardians will be in Infinity War. I always took this as a given. I mean, what were the Guardians for if not for a crossover? Especially within a universe devised for crossovers. Nice to have it confirmed though, after Marvel has artificially made it a mystery for so long. http://www.superherohype.com/news/380475-avengers-guardians-of-the-galaxy-crossover
Dr. Strange crossover in "Thor: Ragnarok". http://www.comicbookresources.com/article/thor-ragnarok-set-photo-teases-strange-encounter
Gist I get is Jeff Goldblum's Grand-master swiped him for his games. Maybe Thor enlists Strange to track him down.
Mark Mothersbaugh will compose the music for "Thor:Ragnarok". He was the lead singer for Devo, and composed the music for Rugrats. So...that's gonna be some weird wild shit. Can't wait!

The mall montage from "X-Men: Apocalypse". http://www.darkhorizons.com/x-men-apocalypse-cut-mall-scene-online/ It's fucking great, and was only three minutes. The flick needed all the humor it could get, dammit. Also, turns out the setup for Mr. Sinister is for Wolverine 3, not First Class 4.
Have you heard the fan theory that the locations of the infinity stones spell out Thanos? Teseract Hela Aether Necklace Orb Staff Now, only yellow and green are left, and "Dr. Strange", and "Thor: Ragnarok", are the likeliest spots for infinity gems to pop up. And oh, look, zoom in on Dr. Strange's necklace, what do we have here?

Cumberbatch-Strange may be the closest Marvel has come yet to the exact visual image of his comic book counterpart.
Eh, he looked a little different. The current comics Tony clearly has some RDJ influence, but RDJ is not worlds apart from the original:
Ding! I haven't picked up an Iron Man comic in decades, but when I heard RDJ was going to play Iron Man, I was pumped. I couldn't think of a better actor to cast in the role, because of how well he fit the mold of Tony Stark.
Before Cumberbatch-Strange, I definitely thought Robert Downey Jr. was the closest to his Marvel comics counterpart.
It's funny too, because Marvel reeeeeeaallly wanted Joaquin Phoenix, and begged him, and seduced him, and backed up money dump trucks to his house, but he just wouldn't do it. Now, I can't imagine anyone but Cumberbatch. Everything worked out just right.
I never read Dr. Strange, but I really like Joaquin Phoenix as an actor and thought he really looked the part. But I'm not at all unhappy that BC got the part. He's a terrific actor and I've heard many fans of Dr. Strange say that he's a really good fit. So, bring on Dr. Strange!
