Re: MSNBC Video-Control Room Berates Anchor, Reporter During Technical Glitch (Langua That asshat should be fired.
Re: MSNBC Video-Control Room Berates Anchor, Reporter During Technical Glitch (Langua Oh, I don't know about that. I've heard much, much worse.
Re: MSNBC Video-Control Room Berates Anchor, Reporter During Technical Glitch (Langua Could the anchor and reporter hear all that? If so, they deserve much kudos.
Re: MSNBC Video-Control Room Berates Anchor, Reporter During Technical Glitch (Langua Doubtful. Most operations record their airchecks with the director/producer track on a different channel from what goes over the air. What producers say over the IFB to the talent is also recorded on that track but judging from the lack of on-camera reaction, I'd say that they couldn't hear any of it. IMO, it sounds like a director berating the crew more than yelling at the woman in front of the camera (though she gets "caught in the crossfire", so to speak). Under deadline, I've cussed some of my best friends and they've cussed me. Then we went and had some beers.
Re: MSNBC Video-Control Room Berates Anchor, Reporter During Technical Glitch (Langua It seems fake/dubbed to me.
Re: MSNBC Video-Control Room Berates Anchor, Reporter During Technical Glitch (Langua I tried Googling it to see if there were any reliable sources, and found a Free Republic thread that has been edited to read:
Re: MSNBC Video-Control Room Berates Anchor, Reporter During Technical Glitch (Langua This thread alone guarantees that more people saw that report on-line than watched it live on cable.
Re: MSNBC Video-Control Room Berates Anchor, Reporter During Technical Glitch (Langua If they did this on the 6'o'clock news on a regular basis, I'd go back to watching TV newscasts.
