Problem is that it is right now, just another cop show. It needs to do something different. A LOT different. Fast!
I really liked it. I expect there'll be folks claiming it's derivative of Deadwood - having never seen that show i can't say. But I liked this one. Colm Meaney may be the most gloriously over-the-top mustache-twirler of his generation lol
Actually, that was a false alarm - apparently it's doing great. And pardon to disagree but i have no idea how you can watch this show and see "just another cop show" to me, it's closer to a real-world Batman than anything else.
Actually that was me coming as close as I could to quoting Entertainment Weekly. And now with the games out of the way, it's going to have to keep doing that well or better since Gray's Anatomy, Bones, and The Office are back.
It's been out-preforming Grey's and office already. I doubt seriously Bones can take it down. And bones, by the way, is much more "just another cop show" than PoI is. I have no idea what unimagiintive shill EW assigned to review it
I like Two Broke Girls. Of course I don't expect it to last forever but it's a nice show. Two and a Half men is pretty decent too. I loved the recent episode where Alan has a mental breakdown and thinks he's Charlie, dresses like Charlie, drinks like him, even gets a girl in bed, and then when he gets dropped off at the psych hospital that he thinks is a casino is ordering room service with drugs and Asian hookers. Then at the end he says, "Winning" Other then those shows and The Big Bang Theory I don't watch anything else on the networks. I lost interest in Terra Nova.
Anyone else watching this season's Sons of Anarchy? Holy shit, this is the best season yet! This week's episode alone amped up the sphincter factor to a 9.5.
I completely disagree on SoA. They have thrown down the gauntlet on some heavy shit, but if they don't commit to resolving it and instead give us contrived soap opera solutions, I'm done. If Clay is not dead by the end of the season, I'm out. on
