Night Club Shooting in Orlando, FL

While Obama is flying in 100 unvetted Syrians a day from a war zone to your own city, and Hillary is railing against the idea of Americans having access to guns to defend themselves, a Muslim jihadist just slaughtered 50 LGBT's in an Orlando nightclub. Trump said we need our guns and have to stop Muslims from coming here until we can figure out what's going on and who is who. Trump wins the election on this one.

Reagan didn't give a dime to the Taliban. He funded the Mujahideen - who got murdered and overthrown by the Taliban. The Taliban didn't exist until Bill Clinton's second term. George W Bush then overthrew the Taliban with the help of the Mujahideen.

The shooters religion had nothing to do with it. The Afghan's father said he got pissed off when he saw two gay people kissing in Miami in front of his four-year old son - apparently in a bathroom, too. Fortunately the shooter worked in security and had an associate's degree in criminal justice, so he knew how to handle it - kill all the gay people.

With more than 50 people dead in a southern state with very permissive gun laws maybe it is time for the states with high rates of gun violence to adopt the more strict gun laws of the states with low rates of gun violence.

The shooter was of hispanic origin judging by his name.

He's an Afghan married to an Uzbek and "Senator Nelson confirms jihadi Omar Mir Seddique Mateen pledged allegiance to ISIS."

He also worked as security and had an associates degree in criminal justice, so under your gun control proposals he would be among the last people in Florida to NOT have an AR-15 and other weapons.

Whether or not this guy was radicalised doesn't negate the fact that his access to guns was the same as the next mass shooter and doesn't negate the fact that he was born into and grew up surrounded by American culture.

But, hey, he's a terrorist so now there's another excuse not to talk about guns.

He was a trained and licensed security professional. He was probably wearing body armor in addition to his suicide vest.

Apparently at least one person in the club was carrying, returned fire, and drove the shooter to cover, allowing more people to escape. But that person probably had a standard capacity magazine and couldn't maintain their counter fire long enough.
