So my friends are still living in Japan, and I had the opportunity to go visit them again recently! I got to go around and see a lot more stuff this time since I bought a rail pass. For those of you who are interested, here are a few of my favorite photos from the trip: Note the tiny, tiny man buying a lottery ticket. This statue is outside a major department store attached to Nagoya station. They change her outfit often. Supposedly if a couple walks between her legs, they'll break up. Temple at Asakusa Cosplay folks in Harajuku. Crush of people in Harajuku. We had to push our way out. Urban Fishing? Near Ichigaya station, Tokyo. Colorful wayfinding signs. Asahi Golden Poop(TM) Perhaps a welcomed service to some. Ow! My pacemaker! Soul Food Yum. Mmm. Sand. This is a "Oh my God I'm gonna die!" face. Not to be confused with a "Wee! this is fun!" I just happened to take the picture at the perfect moment. The baby is none too pleased. Teriyaki Burger Sushi! Deer in Nara Mt. Fuji from the Bullet Train Osaka Sunset Kyoto Station Two drinks will make my Japanese friend turn red! Last Tokyo-bound Hikari of the evening, and I have the car all to myself!
I've been trying to work in Japan teaching English. I can't wait to be accepted into a year-long program.
Great Photo's Although I'd be as lost as a newborn babe in the woods over there, those pictures were really nice!
