This thread was about Family Separation. A policy of separating children who came with their family from their family with the explicitly stated purpose of creating psychological trauma.

I am genuinely curious. When you stated that Biden was behaving the same as Trump did you not understand the facts? That one policy is about intentionally creating psychological trauma in children and the other is about doing due diligence when it comes to handing children over so that some dude can’t just show up and say ‘Those are my nieces, give them to me.’

The articles I’ve read said they had no leads but suspected it was right wingers upset over slavers having their statues pulled down.

I've was on record pages and pages ago that the treatment of migrant children (yes, even when Trump was in office) was HORRIBLE. It's one of the biggest black marks on his whole Presidency.

I was expecting much, much better from Biden on this topic at least, and instead? Hardly any real change at all. And what's worse, there doesn't even seem to be any movement to improve the situation.

Update. One year into zoom school I can confirm it is still ok to put children in cages.

If there is a difference, it is extremely small and merely a slight matter of nuance. Both of them mean two people are acting the same way.
