I always like this one... there is one other that I'm looking for that I'll post later. Actually there are a few. But this one I took on a foot patrol is just an amazing shot.

That looks like Blarney Castle in the south west of Ireland.

I'm most proud of the Sistine Chapel pic, since pics weren't allowed in there and I hid the camera behind my back in my hat and took it without a flash so I wouldn't damage the paint.
It came out a hell of a lot better than I thought it would.
    Edit:
And for some reason, the pic of the Acropolis came out really small here. It should be as large as the other pics

LOL, nah. Never been drunk in my life.
I ordered one drink that day, some fruity concoction, just to see what it felt like to legally order a drink.
It was ok. A Red White an Blue special type thing, since my b-day is July 6th.

    Thanks!!

I know the leaves are a rather over done shot, but I just loved the colors so much I couldn't resist.

Well, I have no idea what the "artifacts" in these are -- I would suspect smudges or fingerprints, except that for them to be fingerprints, somebody would've had to put a finger on the lens of my camera either at the exact moment a photo was being taken (not bloody likely) or would've had to very carefully and very deliberately retract the automatic shutter over the lens and then stick their finger in there -- neither event having happened, to my knowledge. Meh. Whatever. Either way, I don't think I'll be recommending HP's PhotoSmart M417 for night photography. Still, these are the best of the batch, as sad as that be.

    • Did *I* take this photo? Absolutely no way.
    • Was it *my* camera? Yeah, I'm pretty sure it was.
    • So it somehow counts for purposes of this thread as being "my" pic? Yeah. I was going on 7 or so at the time. No way I could have pulled off a good photo of anything worth photoing. So I think I got a parent to take it for me. So yeah, it's "my" picture.
    • Where is it? Actually, I'm rather curious to see whether any of our Southerners will recognize it... ;)

These were taken at my school during the last election. First is the former Democratic candidate for Vice President, John Edwards. The second is a sort of union gay Hitler. Both make me shudder.

It's a shame. I would've gotten two very good pictures of Senator Edwards if I wasn't being jostled in a crowd (one was blurry, the other has my finger on the right edge :bang:).
