Be careful and be safe! Apostle, if you're in the bathtub, cover your head with a mattress if at all possible, to protect yourself from flying debris. Shoes, you just stay in the center most part of your house and stay covered! I've chased a Tennessee tornado before, they're nasty.

I went into areas the Red Cross wouldn't. I stayed with guard units. I heard said guard units firing at folks.

There was a lot more violence in the aftermath of Katrina than has been made public.

Anyways, my aunt's house is fine. The Ghetto (southhaven) has so many wrecks they stopped reporting the number temporarily.

Dude the ghetto (besides the old one down by the river) is on the TN side of the line....Winchester corridor.

It might stretch a bit across the line but most of Desoto county is folks who ran away from the ghetto mentality.

Heard from Bear. The tornado passed very, very close to his house. However, he and his family took shelter and they're fine. They also have very little, if any, damage.

However, the school that I believe Lethesoda goes to was hit hard. The girl's dormitory was destroyed and the boy's dorm was heavily damaged.

A LNG pumping station in suburban Nashville is in flames. The glow can be seen from 40 miles away.

Nope, I don't go to Union, but I do go to Lambuth- about two or three miles from the touchdown zone.

I'm fine, as is everyone in both Union and Lambuth AFAIK. We were really, REALLY lucky.
