It fits perfectly because you guys took a comment from Rubio and blew it completely out of a proportion and made it into something it wasn't. Very similar to the far right nutjobs who take an Obama comment, dissect it, and then make the claim he is something he isn't. You had every right to be called on it so spare us the crocodile tears.
Lemme put it simply, no. Perhaps if we had more threads championing elephants it'd be easier to see I haven't fondness for either party. That said what's your take on our president believing in the supernatural? Keep in mind he's got his finger on the nuclear button! He claimed the spirit of god spoke to him for goodness sakes!!!
Having grown up on the West Coast, I only experienced this delicacy very recently. Why is this not available coast to coast??
Though, I suppose having to give up Tastykakes is worth it when the West Coast has way better Mexican food. It's been rather hit or miss on the East Coast in regards to Mexican food, most places basically melt some cheddar cheese in the microwave slap some salsa and beans on and call it Mexican food. I can make that shit in my kitchen, thank you. I've only found one place that is even comparable, but their crunchy tacos leave something to be desired. When I ask around, I get the following answer: "Oh you want legit Mexican food, go to Chipotle!"
We also have a President who thinks there is 57 states and a house minority leader who bashes fossil fuels while praising natural gas.
So...what's the point of this thread? Other than another chance for Clyde to make his hackey "donkey and elephant" references, of course. But since we're talking about Mexican food, the truck that parks near my place at night has the best carnitas tacos I've ever had. They're $1.25, come with onions and cilantro, and you add a little salsa verde and a squeeze of lemon juice to the pork and you die of happiness.
How about a quote from Rubio equivalent to Obama's "Christ's birth made the angels rejoice and attracted shepherds and kings from afar. He was a manifestation of God's love for us. . ." And you know what? If you found one it would only further show that Rubio and Obama are both Christians.
I'm always afraid to try out food trucks because of food safety reasons. But on the few occasions I have, I haven't been disappointed. For me, though, gyros are my go-to food truck item. Where have you been all my life, tzatziki sauce? If I knew where to buy tzatziki sauce, I would occasionally mix and match with any Mexican food I'm cooking. (This may sound horrible, but whenever I run out of sour cream, I substitute ranch dressing)
Surprisingly easy, really: http://allrecipes.com/recipe/tzatziki-sauce/ Yours? No, it's as obvious as the elephant in the room.
You'll have to be more specific, what part of Mexican food is hypocritical? I haven't bothered to read much of thread, is there some controversy over mild, medium, and hot salsa?
Wow, what started out as a fun parody thread has really turned into a registry for the blind faithful.
There's a decent taco truck in my neighborhood. A better one down at the next station. Unfortunately we've had (and to some extent still do) pretty restrictive rules when it comes to food trucks. They've been loosened to some extent in the last couple years, but we still have nothing on Portland or other cities.
I've never gotten sick from a food truck, either one of the more recent high-end ones, or an old fashioned roach coach. Just look for one with a lot of people eating there.
