It pretty much says, "Post Reported by Apostle83, "Post Reported by actormike", "Post Reported by 14thDoctor", or "Post Reported by Parallaxas".

I think Para's mostly reporting the spambots.

There are a couple of other names in there, but most of it is those 4 posters.

I sent the notification. It was spam. One spam thread isn't so bad, but Muad was doing it in every forum. If baba or starguard or aquawhatever had pulled that, there'd be a mob calling for blood.


I don't get why the warning was for "trolling," though.

I recently reported a dozen parallaxis posts.

I once reported 4 neg reps outside the red room.

Do I get an honesty rep?

Just to address that, plenty of people have had references to other posters in their sigs for a long time without getting warnings.

If its a strong attack on someone, we will usually take action preemptively asking the member to remove it (or in extremely rare cases editing it ourselves) If it's a relatively mild troll though they tend to be left alone as general teasing unless the target complains.

You complained, I got it removed and accepted a warning as a result. Exactly the same as any other poster would have been treated.

I've disabled sigs as I find them offensive.

If only more people took your sensible approach.

This reads as if once RR rules are applied, then the thread becomes open for discussion elswhere.

As far as I know, this is not the case, BR even with RR rules stays BR full stop.

I could have worded my response better. You're right: AFAIK it stays in BR, you just have RR Rulz in the thread, which means there will be some "nonsense".

Yes. Stands as is. It's just a friendly warning and will be gone in a couple days now.

That's because they did/do it all the time. Muad was having fun one time. We have thicker skin than that here.
