You know, Star Wars needs to set some rules about how cloning works, it seems like they want to have it both ways. With the Jango Fett clones, the ones we know and love, each clone has it’s own unique personality, but with Palpatine, it’s just another version of him that famously or infamously “somehow returned”. And he has the force somehow. I suppose with midicloreans you could infuse an individual with the force or something, I guess that’s what happened with Anakin, but I don’t know.
With the Force, you could overwrite any divergent personality with your own - the Clone Troopers only had different personalities because they were allowed some leeway in upbringing and didn't have Jango forcing his own ideas on them. I'll bow to your experience on having it both ways though.
Here's the BS the novels came up with. Every lifeform, twin, clone, or no, has its own unique soul frequency. Or is supposed to have. Normal growth allows an organism to adapt its frequency to the world around it, including proximity to its twin/clone. Growing a clone too fast doesn't allow for the frequency to adapt, and you get truly identical soul frequencies, which causes feedback, like a microphone into an amplifier, but instead of a horrible noise, the clone goes insane. Joruus C'Baoth had this clone madness. Then, Dark Empire went with the "overwite souls" theory for Palpatine being back (yes, the comics did this before TROS). Then, the sequels to DE combined the rules, and Palpatine's final batch of clones were rushed, and had clone madness, and overwriting didn't matter, because it was more like physical hard-drive damage. So, following those rules, the Jango clones are grown fast, but just enough to stay on the safety line for clone madness, and why they have unique personalities. Whether TROS Palpatine or TLJ Snoke had clone insanity is tricky to say. Sith aren't right in the noggin to begin with.
Speak for yourself. I think it's one of the greatest tragedies in the history of film that Boba Fett got retconned into a fatass kiwi.
Yeah, the guy might have gone to seed a little since he was cast, but FFS to call him a fatass when he GOT the role... are you bulimic, WAB? I mean even years after AOTC, he was in better shape than most.
Fair enough re: 20 years ago, but you could pretty much see his gut poking out of his armour in the Book of Boba Fett.
Hence the … who said it. Oh, on the deep fake you tube obi wan reacts. He says “bring the breast plate stretcher!”
You can always tell, by the way Din Djarin walks if it’s Pascal or his stunt double in the suit. stunt double walks funny.
So you find this funny because it's true? Are there other things you've found funny that posters have asked you to clarify why that this might apply to?
Okay, you know the scene in the original SW where Leia looks at Luke and says, "Aren't you a little short to be a stormtrooper?" And if you look up things based on who played whom, in the various movies, you realize that Mark Hamill is taller than the guy who was the OG Fett cloned to make stormtroopers. So that was a lie. You know what else is a lie? That Luke is taller than Yoda. No shit. https://twitter.com/MarkHamill/status/1661856674536370176 This is worse than finding out that Santa's not real. Our whole lives have been a lie.
Use the Force Kick, Luke! https://twitter.com/markhamill/status/1662529702207303680?s=46&t=iYW3foyqIA6Tn8VWwn3nwQ
How come Force Lightning DOESN'T produce thunder? In real life it probably would right? If so , every time Emperor Palpatine fired lightning out of his hands there'd be HYPER LOUD & DEAFENING claps of thunder. This is just a speculation anyway. If they were to really do that in the movies it'd probably be distracting to the audience & disruptive to the flow of the film.
Well, it's Force Lightning, so you could handwave it's not having to actively rend the atmosphere in order to flow, but just following the path that's naturally already there since the Force surrounds everything.
