lightning gets to 50 000F presumably force lightning is a lot cooler along with travelling a much shorter distance (substantially smaller shockwave).
I got the impression she was speaking to Hera when she said that. Or was Hera speaking to someone else? dammit, now I have to watch it again. I was really hoping to see something about Barris Offee or Ventris. Not just you, but I'm not good with that sort of thing anyway.
Vader never caught wise to Leia. I think the force is like electricity, in that you have to use it for it to register. Luke didn't put a ping on the radar until he did the blast shield test.
Qui-Gon knew about Anakin though. But you could argue he was so strong he couldn't mask it, at least without training. There have been other instances that might prove you right - in the Jedi Survivor game:
1:09 where Sabine calls Ahsoka "Master"... although yeah, a little fuzzy on who says "...just like I walked away from Sabine" just before that. Sounds like Ahsoka, but the cadence of conversation hints at Hera.
12 minutes on the competent story-telling in TLJ. Personally, even as someone who enjoyed the movie, I disagree that Holdo was handled well.
Holdo's fumbling of the situation doesn't really bother me. The way I look at it, she was never supposed to be in overall command -- she's probably a good tactician who spent much of her career as an aide to people like Leia and Ackbar, but doesn't have their leadership skills. If the Resistance had more of a command structure to fall back on, somebody else would have been in charge, but they were running lean, then their top two people got taken out, and Holdo ended up in a position she wasn't suited for. Kind of like Colonel Tigh ending up in charge of the Colonial Fleet in BSG. Overall pretty realistic.
I've seen memes suggesting that Anakin was so strong in the Force that he was unconsciously mind-tricking Padme into falling for him, since it happened so quickly. But the sort of twats who make those arguments are the sort who wish they could do that.
