http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3qLefrvxbq8 Someone posted a link to this on TNZ and I figured you guys would like it. Here, I think that Ron is right and we need to suck it up and let the bubble deflate/burst. I don't always agree with Ron, but he is right that we need to stop propping up the weaknesses in our economic system, starting with the narrow view that companies take of not looking at long term growth, but at what will increase their quarterly statement the most. To quote Kirk "Let them die!"
Most of Ron Pauls ideas sound good at first...but fall to pieces after 2 seconds of thought. Most of his popularity stems from... 1) No regulating the internet. 2) No taxes...or income taxes...or whatever he said. 3) You could also throw in his wanting to disband agencies responsible for public safety.
And come back together after 30 seconds. But that's beyond the attention span of your average liberal or conservative.
And? So... you don't even know what he advocates, then. Right? I might agree on this point. However many of them are in dire need of reform.
That is true, yes. Like all pure ideologies, it's deeply flawed. The only thing that works is taking the best of everything
