Moderators are posters. The idea they are not and are something seperate is just a way to justify different standards for some posters over others. And the question was already answered. It was something I have been nagging Elwood about since Volpone's words and POTN's departure changed my view about it, oh...a year or so ago. Besides, as I said earlier...any abuse would quickly become apparent to all....rep is a public utility. If it happens it will be dealt with. If it happens a lot the privledge will be revoked. I suspect that it won't be a problem though..we'll see.
But that's blackmail, not bullying. I may be splitting a semantic hair, but I don't see the two as equivalent.
Blackmail is much more serious, IMO. How can bullying happen on a BBS? It can't unless you are unwilling to use ignore or turn off rep. The most it really is, is allowing yourself to be swayed by aggressive tactics. It is some people's absolute refusal to use ignore that causes their displeasure here.
