Can you refute the post or not? Oh and my preferred party is the Libertarian party.

The commute would directly impact pay. If the further job offered $300,000, would it still be outside the realm of possibilities?

    He did.

    Your preferred cover, you mean.

We know if we scrub that flag hard enough it'll be the Confederate one underneath. And we know what's under THAT.

No he didn’t. In order to do that he would have to take each point line by line and make a counter argument. He didn’t do that. What he did do is say a bunch nonsense that has nothing to do with what I said about the Democratic Party.

The quality of your "arguments" determines the quality and length of the responses you receive. Besides, we all see what you're trying to do.

Your post was 100% whataboutism, Oldfella-with-a-degree. A pure deflection on what the Republican Party has openly embraced.
Specific examples of issues we've noted and rightly criticized when they occurred.
No, a line by line refutation isn't needed here as the Democrats at least pay lip service to taking their missteps to task.

If Libertarian is the party of your choice, I would imagine you'd be hesitantly joining the Democrats in taking the Republicans to task, because the GOP's making the Libertarians look bad.

I said nothing about the Republican Party, you did that. I pointed out things on that list that reminded of things the Democrats have done. If you feel the Republican Party has done things on that list that amount to fascism feel free to post them.

If I were independently wealthy, I would do, like ... half of my job for nothing. Probably not 40 hours a week worth of it, though.

I think the walls in the White House can tell you which president has had a tendency to assault inanimate objects.

It would be interesting to do a correlation of these rambling run on posts with time of day, specifically local bar closing times.

Refute what? Sure the Dems engage in cronyism, just about every political party in the world does that. You’re right about Obama assassinating a US citizen but that’s an exception - the Dems are the human rights party of the US and it’s not even close, even though they are far from perfect. Everyone identifies enemies as a unifying cause, it’s one of the oldest tricks in the book. The rest of your post is pretty flimsy, or again exceptions to the usual rule. A lot of reaching

The point is - and read this because i know your reading comprehension is abysmal - that the Republicans check literally every box where the Dems kind of check a few

Buddy if you spent a quarter of the time defending the Libertarian Party like you do the Republican Party then you might have a case. But you don’t

You’re literally trying to deflect here and it’s an incredibly miserable attempt

Hey did you know that the Republicans are welcoming Viktor Orban to their CPAC conference next month? The guy that literally says we shouldn’t mix races. How are you going to defend that one I wonder….can’t wait to find out!

I love this imaginary "flex" of proclaiming that the only thing preventing your population from murdering each other is a lack of equipment.

"We're great people, so long as we are physically prevented from being otherwise. "

And your counter-argument boils down to, "Nah, we 'Merkins are just a more violent people than you." That's not exactly a better "flex."

My counter to that bit of horseshit is just declining to live in the sort of childproof playpen necessary to prevent bad people from preying on the defenseless. I refuse to adjust around shitbags. If you can't act right IN society, you should be removed FROM society.

Acting right: Live and let live. Or "You don't fuck with me, I won't fuck with you."

Corrective measure: Warehousing you in the institution appropriate to your dysfunction, upon conviction.

Sounds good, until you get to thinks like corporations dumping toxins into the environment. They'll happily argue that what they're doing isn't fucking with anyone. Not to mention people who think that someone not hiding the fact that they're gay is fucking with other people.

Any time limit on that? Or are you just thinking that it should be permanent? Also, do you think that someone speeding through a residential neighborhood (thus putting the lives of people in the area at risk) warrants jail time?

That's nice. Call me when you get a kingdom.

Let it be known that UA's okay with someone losing their license for life if they had the misfortune of driving 1 MPH over the speed limit. Speedometers aren't 100% accurate (by design), BTW.
Doesn't sound unreasonable if you kill someone, but what if you only break some bones?

What if they shoot someone who survives the wounds? Same answer. If it's not self-defense, causing grievous bodily harm is a permanent removal. You don't give them a second chance to hurt people.

And fuck you with your silly little 1mph gotcha trap.

So, someone driving the speed limit hits and injures a little kid who darted out in front of them, even though there wasn't enough time for the driver to react, they should still be locked up for life? In high school, I knew a guy who was driving very slowly through a parking lot and a little kid ran in front of his car at the last possible second. The guy couldn't even see the kid run in front of his car (it was a toddler, and he popped out from behind a vehicle), hit the kid, and killed him. Traumatized the guy so much that became an EMT in order to save lives. Wasn't cited for the accident because the investigation revealed that there was nothing that he could have done to prevent it.

Save for the fact that in TN, if you drive around Memphis doing 1 MPH over the speed limit with out-of-state tags, you will be pulled over by the police and have your vehicle searched. (There's an episode of COPS showing this happening.) Additionally, if you've got out-of-state tags in TN, and are doing 1 MPH over the speed limit while Bonnaroo is going on (but not the Fan Fair for Country music folks), you will get pulled over for speeding (and then have your vehicle searched). Not to mention that there are any number of jurisdictions that do this because traffic fines are the largest source of income for the local government.
