Well, I think renewal is more likely than not, and that a two hour movie to wraps things up if renewal doesn't happen is likely. The fact is that, after watching these two episodes, it seems to me like the plan had been for at least one more episode to end the season before the writer's strike chopped off production. That simply wasn't a real season finale we saw, but it sure set up a good season finale. If the show is canceled the producers will still want to be able to sell DVDs, and a real season finale in the form of a T.V. movie would boost sales considerably IMO. They'll work something out to get something aired even if renewal doesn't happen.
That was them burning off two unrelated episodes. They could have aired the second one next week. God knows there isn't enough scripted drama ready to air.
There were supposed to be four more, as 13 episodes were ordered. The show-runner claims that he intends to incorporate the storylines for what would have been this year's season-ender into the beginning of next season.
Is there a site I can go to check out the status of the show? It's not that I don't believe you but there's some conflicting stuff here.
What information do you find suspect? I got mine from various sources, and I don't necessarily vouch for it's accuracy 100%.
No decision has been made on renewal yet, so anything, on any site, about the status of the show going forward is speculation.
I haven't heard renewed. I heard production not ordered to resume and no decision made about next year. And then I heard they burned off the last two episodes instead of dragging them out another week. And then I saw it got 4.8 M views for those episodes.
That was an outstanding scene, and a wonderful idea from the writers, and John acted it just perfectly.
Dam I've got to get to watching this. TIVO has made me lazy when it comes to watching TV. Sometimes I wait too long and then have to have a marathon session. Thank God I can skip commercials.
The last half hour or so of the last episode was the best part of the whole series so far. The bit with John and "the Reeses" in the park: The SWAT raid with Johnny Cash?
I was only able to watch the first ten minutes before stopping for a daughter problem but damn that was funny. "I never smoke marijuana" "Thank you for your cooperation" I swear that saying alone is going to become this shows catchphrase. Well back to watching..........
Ok saw it! Liked it! Other then that it was mega cool especially the Johnny Cash bit but they need to explain why the terminator did what he did with Agent Ellison and they better explain what the deal is with that Hispanic chick. I'm beginning to think shes a terminator too. Oh and if Ellison isn't a believer by now he needs to be locked up with Dr.Silberman. Loved the stuffing the body in the car scene. They better renew this show!
You sick bastards. Why contemplate boning a terminator when you've got Sarah Connor right there, all hot, human, deliciously female, and ready to go?
Well I for one cheer for John Connor to score some ass, since I'm never gonna be within 10 miles of Lena Headey or Summer Glau, in all likelihood. Now the sick filthy rotten fuck in me would be very turned on by John fucking his hot mom, but it's not really the sort of thing the network is likely to show. Far more likely that he'll be sexually experimenting with Cameron at some point. An Aside: What's with all the chicks named Cameron these days? To me, that's about as masculine a name as you can have, and in Gaelic means "Bent Nose".
Oh I don't know..... Shes prone to these long monologues. She talks too much. Shes probably not into anything fun. After all she has a future to save. Cameron will do anything and shes doesn't talk much.
You know, you could break that quote down to the first 8 words and it would still work........ But yes, I'd nail them both!
