I got the first shot of Pfizer today. No side effects. Barely even felt the injection -- don't know if that's because the needle was really small or if the guy administering it was just really good.
No doubt anyone who knows how is getting plenty of practice these days. FWIW, I didn't feel a thing, either. We'll see how shot number 2 goes on Saturday.
The guy with the bike wasn't wearing a mask either, so I wonder if this was one MAGAt totally failing to get another's sarcasm.
Biker looked like he had a gaiter around his neck that had fallen off his face (also, being outside COVID's not as big of a concern), he was also ethnically indeterminant so he might have been Asian-American (and one can well understand why he might have issues with some asshat spouting bullshit).
The first thing to do is to appoint people who don't hate the government and aren't determined to sabotage it at every turn to prove it can't do anything right. Anyway, I got my second Pfizer jab yesterday and am really tired today. No nausea or any other side effects, so I'll just hit the sack again and be happy that I'm on the way to being a lot safer.
That's a pretty cheap price to buy a state governor. That's probably like, what, four trips to Disneyland?
So not that I think Kroger is the paragon of grocers (lol), knowing that Kroger has been trying to get into Florida for years, I have to wonder if Publix has just unwittingly given Kroger a small hand in that direction An aside: A few years back, Portland based New Seasons Market, which had just gotten itself in the Bay Market of California, found itself in need to sell out or something, and Kroger had been in negotiations (which would have brought its Oregon and Washington Divisions from Fred Meyer and QFC to FM, QFC, and NSM, along with a foothold into the Bay Area). Talks fell through, Kroger pulled out, and NSM proudly proclaimed they'd always be a Local Company... only to be bought out by a South Korean parent company. Oh, and NSM's new Grant Park store caused the QFC a block away to shut down, as the Hollywood Fred Meyer (FM's flagship store) was already around the corner. Yeah, I actually wanted Kroger to buy out NSM just for the sheer schadenfrued it would have caused the NSM clientelle Still do Another fun fact: Kroger has no presence in NorCal. Fred Meyer attempted to break into that market back in the '90s (well before Kroger got its hands on FM/QFC/Smith's/Ralph's), opening its first location there in... Chico. Yeah, that essentially derailed the planned sites (with property acquired) in Sacramento and Redding.
According to my Goods app, Kroger had halted all PAC donations to both parties. However, their history is 61/39 Republican/Democrat. Publix is 86/14 Republican/Democratic.
Just got my first vaccine shot. Didn't even feel the needle go in. Unfortunately I didn't get priapism as a side effect. From the time I pulled in and received the injection was less than 15 minutes. Then another 10 for observation. In total 23 minutes in and out.
My second shot was given by a licensed practical nurse. Didn’t feel a thing. I think they’re all getting lots of practice. After spending Sunday in bed, I’m non the worse for wear.
The app (Goods Unite Us) is a free app on both apple and android. If you want to know where your money goes when you buy stuff, it's a good app.
Didn't notice the sticker over the band-aid until I got home. I also helped a buddy of mine register for his Covid vaccination a few days ago. He has internet and a smart phone, but he's not entirely tech savvy. And he was having issues with his existing router, and installed his new one a few weeks ago. He uses AT&T, but when he installed the new one he couldn't log in. Turns out that the new one had a tag for the wifi name and password, but it was sent out with the old name and password set up on it, which AT&T didn't tell you. I was able to to walk him through it over the phone.
