At midnight Alberta is going back to the strongest level of lockdown our cowardly "leader" will allow, since variants are quickly going out of control here. Of course he didn't do it before the long weekend, because of course. He also began his press conference today by sneezing into his hand and blaming "spring allergies."

I fucking hate this article, since it turns out the most common afflictions are anxiety and depression. Like, we're in a never-ending pandemic. Everyone is anxious and depressed.
I was ok now I’m officially over it, but now I’m anxious and depressed I’m going to be anxious and depressed within 6 months.
Reminds me of a friend of my brother's who went to see a shrink for depression after being diagnosed with terminal throat cancer. The shrink said "of course you're depressed. You're dying of cancer." Gee thanks a pile, doc....
I mean, I'm depressed, but then I am mortal and in a godless universe (a universe with God would be worse, seriously read the fucking Bible) ultimately nothing matters. So why bother with lithium? We've got tequila.
Jesus christ, could CNN be any more alarmist and data manipulative without becoming faux news? So people got depressed and anxious after being severely ill, and it got worse the more severe it got? Thank you captain obvious. Considering this thing has potential life long effects with breathing, and large numbers of the most severe cases were in elderly people who probably suffer the worst from surviving a severe illness I wonder why they might be more afraid and depressed. Oh, and some people had a stroke which caused brain problems? You don't say that cutting off blood flow to the brain causes brain damage. Good to see those medical degrees not going to waste. However, according to the article known effects of the flu like parkinsons are less in covid patients, but we do not want to really mention much of that because that does not fearmonger and cause more anxiety. I think listening to the fucking news causes anxiety and depression so maybe the people at CNN should help the world and die in a fire. Maybe if we get faux news, newsmax, and OAN to go along we might actually cure large amounts of anxiety and depression. Maybe we should get a study on anxiety and depression in people who watch news.
Well, while waiting for my second shot, I got it. With my health issues, I thought I would be hit hard. My wife also has it. For her, it just feels like allergies, for me it feels like a head cold. We're both recovering and should be fine in a few days.
I remember when I went to the shrink last time I was depressed. My feet felt like they were on fire and being stabbed. The pain never ended. i could barely walk through walmart without being completely exhausted. The doctors were saying this was life. My family was just going to watch me cry in pain until whatever it was got me. So when i explained to the shrink I was extremely suicidal she told me to evaluate my life and see what to look forward to in the future. Then she said see you next week. Yes, I tried to kill myself that weekend. Bitch was supposed to baker act me. I guess when you do not have an actual bank account to ravage and they cannot get any money for treatment out of you, they don't baker act you. I get that some shrinks are good and help people. Some might care and make the world better. I only seem to find the bad ones. The only reason I would ever go back to one is to see if I could actually drive them insane. If I win the lottery maybe I will actually pay for that amusement.
